The Hokies are more efficient and solid, and Thursday they should avenge their tough loss to Florida State.

Look for Xavier's trademark physicality to be the difference Thursday.

In the teams' last matchup, in Lincoln, Maryland handled the Huskers easily, winning 60-45, with Bruno Fernando and Jalen Smith crushing undersized Nebraska on the boards. Look for the same thing to happen today as the Terps are just far more talented and rested. Maryland does like to start slow, so look for a live betting opportunity early in the game to get an even better line. The Terps should roll.

It’s no surprise that Marquette is struggling as of late. The Golden Eagles have lost four straight, including three games in which they were favored. But I don't think that's the best indicator heading into March, and I feel they should be a much bigger favorite against St. John's. Marquette's seeding has dropped in the past month, and the Golden Eagles are in need of an impressive showing to impress the NCAA selection committee. Look for the big stage to inspire Markus Howard to put on another show. Marquette should take this one with no problem at all.

This line is truly a gift. We have an Illinois team that has been so inconsistent this season. The Illini are coming off an emotional overtime victory on Wednesday night. Iowa, which hasn’t played in four days, has failed to cover the spread in its last eight games, which is one reason for the small line. The Hawkeyes should be at least an eight-point favorite especially after throttling Illinois by 24 earlier this year. Take Iowa and run before the line goes up.
