The NBA Comp play is on the over in the LA Lakers at NY. Knicks game at 12 noon eastern. This game fits a solid totals system we use that plays to the over for rested road favorites that failed to cover as a road dog of 10 or more and are taking on a home team also off a road dog spread loss but failing to cover by 10 or more. Both teams have flown over in the last 4 vs losing teams and all 5 have gone over of late in this series. Look for the Lakers and Knicks to play over the total. Rob V- GC Sports

As poor as the Lakers have been against the spread, and in general, the Knicks have been worse, especially at home where they're 11-19-2 ATS. New York has lost eight in a row, all by at least five points, and LeBron James will be on the court for L.A. The Lakers win handily in my simulations by an average of eight points, covering comfortably.

The Magic have pounded the Hawks by 16 and 19 points in the two meetings this year, and they're back home -- Atlanta is just 11-25 on the season on the road. But Orlando has lost four of six, the wins against the Cavs and Mavs, and it's 1-4 ATS when favored by 6-9 points. Atlanta has won two in a row but is also on a 9-2 ATS run. My computer simulations see a close game in Orlando. Take the points.

But my projections call for a Buffalo bounceback game, winning in 49 percent of simulations -- that's good enough to take a minor risk at such a good money line underdog price.

Cincinnati one of the slowest paced teams in the country with a tempo rank of 328 out of 353 teams while Houston is #247. The Bearcats also struggle shooting away from home with a percentage of 40.9%. This line is a few points higher than it should be thanks to the regular season final which saw Cincy allow the second most point they did all season giving up 85 points and allowing Houston to shoot 52.2% from 3-pt. Houston played Memphis yesterday which is the pasted paced team in the conference and they final score was 61-58. I expect the winner to score about 55 in this low scoring affair.
