I think Racanelli has found a good spot for her, and I like her chances in this field. Lets try to beat the low-odds horses with this mare. Just missed last out, but ran a pretty good race. TAVRIDA - This mare has run pretty well on the turf. Often that form translates to success at a track like this where the turns are sharp. DIXIE ROSE - Has run good races in the first or second starts back off of a vacation.

Now I am not oblivious to the fact that favorites have suddenly become hot again in hockey. Seems like each and every day almost every money line favorite has been cashing in but, ladies and gentlemen, that never lasts for long. That said, this looks like a great spot to grab strong line value on a home dog no one else will want. Keep in mind the Maple Leafs have been nothing special of late. Toronto is off a win versus Florida but they allowed 5 goals which marked the 5th time in their last 8 games that they've allowed 5 or more goals. Also, prior to that win, the Leafs had lost 5 of their 7 prior games! Does that really sound like a team that should be this big of a road favorite? Of course not and the fact is the Flyers may only be playing for pride at this point but that absolutely could prove to be enough to get the job done here. Philly is looking to avoid the series sweep at the hands of the Leafs this season and note that each of the first two games were at Toronto. Now the Flyers are finally the host and they've won 3 straight home games against the Maple Leafs. In fact the home team is now 7-1 in the last 8 games between teams.
