ADRIAN HOUSER (R) vs. JACK FLAHERTY (R)

Flaherty allowed five runs on nine hits to Milwaukee last week -- including homers to Lorenzo Cain and Yasmani Grandal in just 2 2/3 innings to take the loss. Im betting the Brewers matchup well against Cardinals starter and get my support again here on a value line. Note: ight-hander Adrian Houser, who will make his first career start in the majors in place of the injured Freddy Peralta (shoulder). The 26-year-old has pitched well with Triple-A San Antonio this season, posting a 1-0 mark with a 1.10 ERA and 0.73 WHIP in three starts (16 1/3 frames).

The Brewers are 8-0 on the ML on the road after a game as a home dog in which they had more strikeouts than hits.

Brewers are 9-2 in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning record.Brewers are 17-5 in their last 22 Monday games.Brewers are 20-7 in their last 27 vs. National League Central.Brewers are 20-7 in their last 27 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30.Brewers are 56-20 in their last 76 when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.

Cardinals are 2-8 in Flahertys last 10 starts.Cardinals are 2-8 in Flahertys last 10 starts on grass.Cardinals are 1-4 in Flahertys last 5 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.Cardinals are 0-5 in Flahertys last 5 starts when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game.Cardinals are 0-5 in Flahertys last 5 starts after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game.Cardinals are 0-4 in Flahertys last 4 starts with 5 days of rest.

Brewers are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in St. Louis.Brewers are 9-2 in the last 11 meetings.Cardinals are 2-5 in Flahertys last 7 starts vs. Brewers.

MLB favorites with a money line of -150 or more (ST LOUIS) - excellent power team - averaging 1.5 or more HR's/game on the season are 36-50 L/5 seasons .

MLB Home favorites with a money line of -125 to -175 (ST LOUIS) - with a team slugging percentage of .430 or better on the season (NL), with a slugging percentage of .480 or better over their last 10 games are 17-31 L/5 seasons for a go against 65% conversion rate for bettors.

Play on the Milwaukee Brewers to win on the ML

St. Louis over Milwaukee- Ya know after losing three one-run games 2-1, 6-5 and 4-3 (ex-11) most would a confidence lull...NOT here folks! Up to that point I was the Christian Yelich 12-24, w/eight walks, eight home runs and 19 RBI's of MLB handicapping winning 8-of-9 'Highest-Rated' Megabucks (Phils/Mets tonight) with 11-2-1 winning days. Jack Flaherty (1-1, 5.00) has been great at home throwing 11 innings allowing nine hits with 14 K's. Take Chip's Megabucks winner and the CARDINALS!

The line tonight on the visiting Milwaukee Bucks is now a solid dozen points, but there is no choice but to put on your "lumberjack shirt" and lay the wood in Motown this Monday evening.

The loss by the Pistons on Saturday just happened to be their 13th straight in the postseason which sets the all-time NBA record for most consecutive playoff losses, and while this year's team is only responsible for the last 3, you may as well go ahead and add a 14th straight loss to that ledger.

                Detroit simply has no answer!

Milwaukee knows their conference semifinal opponent just swept their opening round foe on Sunday, as Boston stopped Indiana in Indy to complete their 4 game sweep, so there should be no fooling around tonight from Mike Budenholzer's # 1 seeded team in the East.

Do keep in mind that Giannis Antokounmpo was limited on Saturday by foul trouble, but when 6 other players step up and give you double-digits, then it really doesn't matter much, does it?

Dating back to the regular season, Milwaukee has now won ALL 7 games played between the teams, and they have covered in each of their last 5 series victories and are 6-0-1 overall against the spread in the 7 wins.

Too much depth on the Bucks for the Pistons to contend with, and while the double-digits Milwaukee must cover on the road are a boat-load, I won't hesitate to lay them tonight.

Time for the broom to come out at Little Caesars Arena on Monday.

                Bucks big.

Now the Yankees are on the road where they have played just 6 games thus far. After sweeping 3 in Baltimore, the Yankees lost all 3 played right after in Houston. I think they open this road trip with a loss, as the lineup that Aaron Boone has to choose from continues to be limited. New York lost Aaron Judge over the weekend to the DL, as they now have 6 of their players from their opening day lineup on the shelf, and 13 players overall on the disabled list!!!

The Angels have been blowing hot and cold through the first 20 or so games, as they opened at 1-6, then followed with a 7-1 run, but needed a comeback win yesterday at home over Seattle to snap another 6 game skid.

Los Angeles will go with the still-searching Matt Harvey who has turned in 3 straight poor efforts - 0-2 with 22 hits and 18 runs allowed in under 13 innings pitched - and will be facing New York for the first time since 2015. Since Harvey will be facing a lineup that does not feature Judge, Stanton, Sanchez, Andujar, or Bird, I will look for the "Dark Knight" to fare better than he has of late and give his team a chance to win against the Yankees and JA Happ.

Happ is also struggling to open the season, as he is also winless at 0-2 and sports an ERA over 7. Happ has already allowed 6 home runs to be hit against him this season, and his 2-6 career mark against the Angels with a 5.57 ERA does not bode well for the Yanks to open in Anaheim with the "W" here on Monday.

I will side with the home team tonight.

                  Take the Halos.
