After losing the series opener, Atlanta evened things up with a 3-1 win yesterday. Reds were fortunate it wasn't a lot worse, as the Braves left 12 guys on base. Atlanta has really been swinging the bat well on their Ohio road trip (6.4 runs/game) and I look for them to put a small blemish on what has been a great start to 2019 for Cincinnati starter Luis Castillo.
As good as Castillo has been, he's got an ugly 6.75 ERA and 1.625 WHIP in 2 starts vs the Braves. Reds are just 4-11 in his last 15 starts after a game where they scored 2 runs or less.
Braves will send out Julio Teheran, who is coming off a bad start. That's actually a good thing, as Teheran has rebounded nicely off a bad outing. Braves have won 6 of his last 7 starts against a team with a losing record and Cincinnati is a mere 3-13 in their last 16 vs a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30. Take Atlanta!
