Yusei Kikuchi is on a roll for the Mariners with a 2.18 ERA in his last three starts. But the Twins are right where they want to be for this one. Minnesota's offense ranks No. 1 in MLB in hitting against left-handers, including a whopping .906 OPS. They are also the No. 1 road-hitting team in the league, batting a robust .292 averaging 6.8 runs away from home. Seattle's offense has taken a dive in the last month and Twins starter Kyle Gibson is trending in the right direction with a sub-3.00 ERA his last five starts.

Giants starter Drew Pomeranz is coming off the IL Sunday -- he has a 6.75 ERA and opponents are hitting .319 in four road starts. He faces a Diamondbacks team that's hitting .294 against LHPs and has scored more runs against them in the league. The Giants' bats haven't been fans of sunlight this season, batting just .209 in day games (compared to .270 for Arizona). Robbie Ray has been great at home this year, too.

Kyle Freeland has been a mess for most of this season. But the exception is when he tossed six scoreless in a great effort against these Phillies. Now he gets them again, and Philly is a rough .210 in day games this year. Colorado's offense is finally picking it up, averaging nearly seven runs in the month of May. Phillies starter Jerad Eickhoff is coming off his worst start of the year. If the Rockies can pounce and give Freeland a lead to work with, he can take it from there.

The Cardinals ended a three-game losing streak on Saturday, but the team has still lost 12 of 16 games. The Rangers can strike out a lot, but they can score a lot of runs, too. Cardinals starter Jack Flaherty (4-3, 4.34 ERA) is 2-8 with a 4.94 ERA in 16 career starts when facing an opponent for the first time. My simulations say Texas wins this game 53 percent of the time, so you're getting good value here. Take the Rangers.

Let's keep riding this A's train against Detroit. Oakland has won a mind-boggling 15 straight games against the Tigers dating to May 2017, and Detroit has lost six straight overall and nine of 11. The Tigers just can't score any runs. In the last 11 games, they're averaging a paltry 2.3 runs per game. On Sunday, they face Mike Fiers, who has gone at least five innings and not allowed more than three runs in his last four starts.

I realize that the Marlins have the worst record in baseball, but this money line is absurd. There is no way the Mets, who have lost four straight and were one-hit by Miami on Saturday, should be such a big favorite. I think the price is reacting to Noah Syndergaard starting for New York, but he has only been OK this season, with a 3-3 record and a 4.74 ERA. My model says the Marlins win 43 percent of the time, which means there's great value in this price. Go with Miami.
