My pick in this contest is DARE TO ENTER. Overall the Equibase Speed Figures of this pony look solid in this race. Ran a strong last race. I can't pass on this gelding given one of the most respectable jock and conditioner combos on the grounds. WHY FRANK - Shows signs of the look of a money-making play, averaging a solid 91 Equibase Speed Figure which is one of the top in this group. Will more than likely be one of the leaders of the bunch going into the halfway point of the competition. BOXER BOY - He has recorded very strong figures under today's conditions and ought to fare well versus this group of horses in this race. Respectable choice to take this race going in a dirt route.

TOWN OF TOWNS - The Apr 19th event at Charles Town was at a class level of (89). Dropping down in the class scale significantly, so he should be in a good spot. Ran a lackluster race at Charles Town last time out. Racing on a fast track puts this gelding at the top of my list of contenders.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 WARLEIGH (ML=3/5), #2 THE GREAT MCHENRY (ML=5/1), #4 BACKSEAT LOVER (ML=6/1),

WARLEIGH - May 4th is the last time we've seen this gelding around. Have to be a little bit leery. THE GREAT MCHENRY - Finished sixth last time out. Would have to move up to land in the top three in today's event. Should have at least hit the board in the last sixty days in a sprint race to be worth the chance at nominal odds in a sprint. BACKSEAT LOVER - This steed ran a disappointing speed rating last time around the track. He shouldn't show signs of improvement and will likely suffer defeat in today's event running that figure.

JEZABEL'S CHARM - Cardoso was aboard this mare in the last race and was impressed enough to take the animal right back. EDGE OF HONOR - Really have to figure this fine animal is going to be very close at the finish.
