Speaking from firsthand experience, Diamondbacks fans really hate the Dodgers. It's more of a jealousy thing and they don't show it by attending games, at least last night when I was there, but it is real. The D-Backs will again be underdogs, just not as large as oddsmakers released them at, down from +125 to about +105. Arizona will send Robbie Ray (5-4, 3.87) to the slab and he's 7-4, with a fine 2.89 ERA in 17 starts versus L.A. The Dodgers are hoping Ross Stripling (3-2, 3.08), followed by Julio Urias, will give them seven good innings before turning it over to the late inning guys. While the Snakes would appear to have a shot, Ray and teammates are 6-12 at Chase Field the last two seasons and come up short.

The Seattle Mariners have won four of their last five while the Milwaukee Brewers had dropped five straight before beating Cincinnati twice over the weekend. I think we're getting an excellent price on the visitors to keep it close here at Miller Park Tuesday night.
Seattle southpaw Marco Gonzales (8-6, 4.38 ERA) has recovered nicely from a rough stretch and enters this contest 3-0 with a 2.33 ERA in his past three starts. Gonzales is hard to beat when he's on a roll and the Mariners are 14-6 in his last 20 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance. We can also note that the Brewers are 0-5 in their last five games vs. a left-handed starter.

I'll gladly take my chances here with the Giants at home against the Rockies with Madison Bumgarner going for San Francisco and Chi Chi Gonzalez starting for Colorado. Bumgarner is coming off a poor out at LA against the Dodgers. Nothing to worry about. Bumgarner knows how to bounce back. He allowed 5+ runs on two earlier occasions and both times came out in his next start and pitched at least 6 innings and allowed 2 or fewer runs. As for Gonzalez, he hasn't started a game at the big league level since July of 2016 and is just 4-5 with a 5.66 ERA in 14 starts at the Triple-A level this season. Give me the Giants -155!

Bumgarner, who has a 3.99 ERA and 1.15 WHIP at home, has a very respectable 3.07 ERA over 32 career starts vs. Colorado. The Giants are 3-0 the last three times that he faced the Rockies, winning by scores of 14-4, 5-2 and 3-0. Consider SF.
