The Kansas City Royals are my free pick tonight, as I think they'll handle the struggling Chicago White Sox rather easily.

Chicago has lost three straight and 6 of 10 dating before the All-Star Break, and now it has to go into Kauffman Stadium, where the Royals will be looking to gain some momentum.

Shouldn't be too hard with the way Whit Merrifield is hitting the ball. He carries a 12-game hit streak into this game, and paces a scrappy lineup that is in after a marathon loss to Detroit on Sunday.

If Merrifiled can spark his teammates, it'll be hard for the White Sox to keep, as they've hit a lull in July. They have the fourth-fewest home runs in July, and fourth-fewest runs this month, with 32.

Take a shot with the home pup in this spot, as the Royals open the series with the dub.
