The Rockies' home-away split is just ridiculous. It always is, but is as extreme as it's ever been. They're the top-scoring home team in MLB, but on the road rank dead-last in average and second-to-last in OPS. They face Chris Paddack on Saturday, who has a .163 average allowed at Petco and hasn't allowed more than a single run in any home game since April. On the other side, Chi Chi Gonzalez has lasted more than five innings just once in his four starts, the Rockies have lost them all, and the team's 28th-ranked bullpen won't provide much relief.

The Mets are on an amazing run, and it has to end someday. But Saturday? The red-hot offense faces Patrick Corbin, whose 5.32 road ERA is more than three runs higher than his home split. He's sporting a 2.76 ERA his last seven starts, and yet has just two wins to show for it thanks to a sluggish Nats offense. That offense faces Noah Syndergaard, who has a 1.78 ERA in five starts since the All-Star break and has gone at least seven innings in all of them. As both teams have shaky bullpens, that gives the Mets another edge.

The Red Sox are averaging only 3.6 runs and hitting a paltry .225 since the calendar turned to August. But the Angles are even worse, averaging 2.5 while hitting .175. Boston routed L.A. Tuesday night with 16 runs, and now faces Andrew Heaney, coming off the IL for his first start in three weeks. Boston still averages 5.8 runs at home and have won five of the last six starts of Rick Porcello.
