I really like the value here with Atlanta as a small home favorite on Thursday. Braves scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th and were able to hold on for a 7-5 win on Wednesday. They have taken the first two in the series and I'm confident they finish off the sweep.
Braves will send out Julio Teheran, who has a sensational 2.52 ERA over 11 home starts this season. He's been even more locked in of late, as he has a 1.91 ERA over his last 7 outings. On top of that he's got a 2.50 ERA and 1.107 WHIP in 27 career starts against the Mets.
New York's offense has cooled off here of late and just recently lost one of their best hitters in Jeff McNeil to the IL. McNeil leads the team in average (.332) and OBP (.400). His 31 doubles are also 8 more than the next best.
Mets will have Marcus Stroman on the mound. While the Mets have won each of Stroman's first two starts since acquiring him in a trade, he's been a bit fortunate. Stroman has allowed 7 runs on 16 hits and 5 walks in 10 1/3 innings.
NY is 8-22 in their last 30 as a road dog of +100 to +150 and 4-14 in their last 18 on the road after a loss by 2 or fewer runs. Take Atlanta!

The Twins (72-48) come into tonight’s game with a 0.5-game lead in the AL Central and a powerful lineup, but they’ll be facing stiff competition against a Rangers team (60-60) that’s earned a 35-22 record at home.
A pair of rookies will be starting the game, as Rangers right-hander Pedro Payano (1-1, 3.86 ERA) goes up against Twins left-hander Devin Smeltzer (1-2, 3.66).
In his debut against the Twins in July, Payano held Minnesota scoreless with a walk in a single inning. In three innings against Milwaukee in his last outing, Payano allowed two runs on five hits. Payano is particularly good against left-handed hitters, holding them to a collective .206 average.
This will be Smelters second start against Texas. On the first occasion, Smeltzer allowed one run on five hits in 4 1/3 innings. In his last outing, the rookie gave up six runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings of work against the Indians.
Although Minnesota leads the majors in home runs and ranks third in scoring, they’ve slowed significantly in those departments recently. Over the past seven days, the Twins have launched nine homers and scored only 26 runs, good enough for 14thand 21stin the majors, respectively.
