AUTUMN ASPEN - This filly should run better today now that she's back facing here own gender. Taking a trip down the class scale; has the form to make her presence felt. That 63 fig this filly earned in her last race tells me she's a key player this time out. TIFFANY'S GAL - I like to wager on this angle, a pony coming back off a strong outing within the last 30 days. Corbett comes to saddle up after getting to know the filly in the last event. Note that although this filly finished 2nd in her last race, she was well clear of the third place horse. This is a classic positive angle. Trainer Von Hemel moves this horse down the ladder based on class rating points to face much lower class horses. Look for a good performance this time out. Lasix can take some getting used to, especially for a filly. They usually hit stride the 2nd time using it, like we have with this horse. Ranks number one in EPS (earnings per start). A dominant effort right here will add to the lifetime total.

I'd expect an improved performance. 45-56-59 are last 3 Equibase speed figures. Improving each time out is something he should do again in today's race. JOE FLASH - Gelding's finish positions keep getting better with each race. Maybe today's the day. Three consecutive improved speed figures (17-40-58) make this one a powerful contender.

JUNONIA - Aug 1st is the last time we've seen this gelding around. Have to be a little bit leery. EBULLIENCE - Disappointing speed figure in the last race at Presque Isle Downs at 1 mile. Don't think this entrant will improve too much in today's race. Hard to put any money on this gelding on the top end. Likes to end up on the board though. SHAENA BUE - Difficult to bet on at 6/1 odds after the most recent outings. This horse doesn't have a conquering character. Quite often finishes close, but no cigar.
