Thor is almost as dominant at forcing groundballs as Stroman is...who shut down the Rockies almost entirely last night. Quick turnaround and a getaway day game here as well. Thor has somehow never pitched in Coors so it could be intriguing...but also difficult for an offense already struggling to get up and dominate after the 1 run showing last night.

Hoffman is not helpful to the Under but the Mets also didn't light it on fire and will be satisfied with any W

Scherzer v. Waino

Hard to believe this could be the price for a home dog on the RUN LINE! Start off with John Trumpane behind the plate who looooves him some home teams. Teams with a better record than their opponent at home as a dog this big after August win half the damn games outright....this line is pure "kooky talk" as I say often...just oodles of value I cannot pass up.

As with last night and the Phils side we played...I liked the Phillies to possibly win but with that stupid dumb value on the run line felt no reason to risk it. I feel the same here...it is a red herring just everyone will bet Max...and thus we get damn near regular vig for a home dog who ALSO needs to make sure they can hold off the hard ass charging Brew Crew for the division!

All about the pitchers here. Unlike last night 0 runs for LA and NY scored 8 through 4 and then did not score again, runs should come today. CC Sabathia has had a bad run as of late, a 6.75 ERA his last 8 starts and he has a bum knee. He is not 100% by any means. He also a left hander and LA has hit southpaws at .341 as a team their last 5. Dillon Peters ERA his last 4 starts a 7.85 and we all know the Yanks can light it up. I see an 8-4 or higher type ball game here, my scoring model says 13 runs.
