Tuesday com play is Under the total in the Brewers-Reds game with Adrian Houser and Sonny Gray doing the mound-work.
Sonny Gray has been a solid addition to the Reds, as he enters this start with a season ERA of just 2.80. The Under is 3-0-1 for his last 4 starts, and is 5-1-1 overall for his last 7 efforts this season.
As for Houser, he has seen 6 of his last 8 starts land Under the total.
Cincy is on a 10-3-2 Under run their last 15 games played at home, and 7 of the last 8 season series meetings against Milwaukee at Great American Ball Park have held Under the posted price.
6 of Milwaukee's last 9 games this year have played Under the total, while Cincinnati is on a 6-2-1 Under run for their last 9 games played this season.
Dodgers and the Padres will open their last series meeting at Petco Park, and I will stick with the recent Over trend that has been brewing for both teams as they hit the diamond tonight.
Los Angeles heads down I-5 having played 4 of their last 5 games, and 5 of their last 8 games overall Over the total, while San Diego has played 2 of their last 3 games Over the posted total, and they have split their last 10 games Over/Under wise.
When these teams met at the end of August in San Diego, 2 of the 3 in the series did go Over the total. In fact, 3 of the last 4 overall in the series have also landed Over the total, and with tonight's pitching matchup of Rich Hill and Ronald Bolanos listed, expect another series Over between these division-rivals.
Hill is making just his second start of the month, and second start since back in June. Of his 11 season starts this year, 7 of them have landed Over the total, and the Over is 7-2-1 for his last 10 road starts. Hill did allow the Padres 3 runs on 7 hits in just 4 innings worked back in early May, so I doubt he works too deep tonight before allowing some crooked digits up on the scoreboard.
Bolanos has worked a total of 14 innings this year and sports an ERA of 5.79. Likewise, it shouldn't be long before the Dodgers cross the plate a few times versus Bolanos.
Go with the Over on Tuesday between L.A. and San Diego.

MLB | Brewers vs Reds
Play on: Reds -108 at pinnacle
Dave’s Tuesday Free Play:
1* on Cincinnati Reds -108 The Key: The Milwaukee Brewers are hot right now, but they just had a day off yesterday to cool their momentum. And now they certainly have their hands full with Cincinnati’s Sonny Gray tonight. Gray is 11-7 with a 2.75 ERA in 30 starts this year and has been real dominant in the second half of the season. Gray is also 2-0 with a 1.78 ERA in 5 lifetime starts against the Brewers, and his teams are 5-0 in those 5 starts. Adrian Houser is 2-7 with a 4.83 ERA in 16 starts, 1-4 with a 5.64 ERA in 8 road starts, and 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in his last 3 outings. The Reds are 10-1 in Gray’s last 11 home starts. The Reds are 9-0 in Gray’s last 9 home starts against a team with a winning record. Take Cincinnati.

MLB | Cubs vs Pirates
Play on: Pirates +162 at Bovada
10* FREE MLB PICK (Pirates +162)
I'll take my chances here with Pittsburgh as a massive home dog against the Cubs on Tuesday. I just don't see how Chicago has any life left in them after that absolutely brutal 4-game sweep they just suffered at home against the Cardinals, all but eliminating them from playoff contention. Add in that starter Kyle Hendricks is just 4-7 with a 4.94 ERA and 1.442 WHIP in 15 road starts and Pirates starter Mitch Keller has a 2.55 ERA in 4 home starts. Chicago is 1-4 in Hendrick's last 5 road starts vs a team with a losing record and have lost 6 of Hendrick's last 7 starts against the Pirates, including 4 straight in Pittsburgh. Give me the Pirates +162!
