BUFFALO @ MIAMI (OHIO) | 9/28 | 12:00 PM EDT
Miami-Ohio took a beating in a non-conference slate that included losses to Iowa, Cincinnati and Ohio State. But this usually pays off for the historically late-blooming RedHawks in conference play. Buffalo comes of an impressive win over Temple, but that performance created a skewed spread in this one.

KANSAS @ TCU | 9/28 | 12:00 PM EDT
Michael Collins is cleared to play this weekend for TCU. I feel he is the best quarterback on the roster by a margin of four points on the betting line. In last year's loss to Kansas, Collins was 23-of-33 for 350 yards and also ran for 40 yards. The Horned Frogs are coming off a loss to rival SMU. Kansas has been very competitive under Les Miles, but the talent level is too much to overcome here. Take TCU.

BYU @ TOLEDO | 9/28 | 12:00 PM EDT
Toledo has one of the best freshman running backs in the country in Joachim Bangda. He paved the way for the team's victory last weekend against Bowling Green. But the Rockets' offensive line faces a difficult challenge in a BYU defense that is stout at the point of attack. The Cougars will limit a lot of what Bangda can do on the ground, forcing Toledo to rely on the passing game more than it wants to.

Look out. This total might as well be in the triple digits. When these two teams played last season the game was a shootout, ending with 97 points. Now the Sooners have an upgrade at quarterback in Jalen Hurts. I like this game to be Over the half-century mark at halftime. Don’t overthink this one. Take the Over and enjoy.

The Sooners lead the nation in total offense and rank second in scoring, averaging over 55 points. Jalen Hurts has a plethora of weapons at his disposal. Both teams come off a bye and this matchup usually produces a lot of scoring.

The Red Raiders have the second-best passing defense in the Big 12, which presents a golden opportunity for Sooners signal-caller Jalen Hurts. He leads the nation in passing efficiency, and coach Lincoln Riley will give him plenty of opportunities to get even more comfortable in the passing game against a defense with a pulse.

The Sooners are coming off of an open week and, judging by how they've run through their schedule up to this point, you'd think they've had three open weeks. Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts is putting up Heisman numbers and figures to hit the ground running in this game. The Red Raiders definitely have familiarity playing against an Air Raid offense, but the Sooners will prove to be too strong and overly prepared for Texas Tech.

RUTGERS @ MICHIGAN | 9/28 | 12:00 PM EDT
Don’t freak out just yet. With coach Jim Harbaugh’s job on the line, expect a dedicated team effort on Saturday in the Big House. Given that the Wolverines destroyed Rutgers 42-7 on the road last season, this line is insulting. Bettors have to continue to fade Rutgers against conference teams that the Scarlet Knights simply shouldn’t be sharing the field with. Take Michigan in this one to win in a very similar outcome to last year's.

RUTGERS @ MICHIGAN | 9/28 | 12:00 PM EDT
The Wolverines were embarrassed last week. The four turnovers and the failed fourth down did not help. I think they were not well prepared, and the players thought they would walk out of Madison with a win since they beat the Badgers last year. Meanwhile the Rutgers offense struggles against good defenses, and the Wolverines defense is in top 10. Michigan will take this week to air out the offense. Take the Wolverines.

The Wolverines have to figure things out offensively if they want to turn their season around. It's the passing game that's causing much of the angst in Ann Arbor. The perfect remedy for an inconsistent offense has been the Rutgers defense. Look for Shea Patterson and Co. to get things back on track in this weekend.

TEXAS A&M VS ARKANSAS | 9/28 | 12:00 PM EDT
Arkansas is the poster child this season illustrating the ill effects of a team looking ahead. The Razorbacks, who cannot afford to take anyone lightly, laid an egg against San Jose State. Thus, this neutral-site matchup line has floated up. A&M has taken down Arkansas seven straight times, but three were in overtime and last year’s game was decided by a TD. The Aggies are not explosive enough to run up a hefty total, giving the Hogs a chance to stay inside the sizable number.
