Louisville -4 over Boston College
Boston College has serious question marks all over their defense. Anthony Brown is missing wide open receivers. Louisville has the talent, speed and athletes to limit AJ Dillon. Bad defenses don’t travel well and that is exactly the scenario we have here. Anthony Brown is just not a guy I trust right now to win a game with his arm on the road. Louisville has team speed on both sides of the ball that will be too much for the Eagles today. Take Boston College.

West Virginia +10.5 over Texas
West Virginia has a lot of really good running backs. Texas is thin on defense this year and the secondary is a mess with injuries. If the Mountaineers can run the ball well they will put up points and keep that high powered Texas offense off the field. The Stills brothers are great assets on the WVU Defensive Line and have the talent to rattle Sam Ehlinger who himself is dealing with a rib injury. This is a large spread to cover on the road without a rock solid defense. I think the Mountaineers can keep it close. Take WVU.

Duke -4 over Pitt
Quentin Harris has looked sharp at QB for Duke this year. David Cutliffe is an offensive minded coach that can do things to make defenses look silly. The Blue Devils have a ton of talent and experience on their defense. This really is a complete team that is playing well. Pitt has also been impressive. The Panthers QB Kenny Pickett is dealing with a shoulder injury so we will see if Duke can take advantage and knock him around early. The Pitt Offensive Line is inexperienced so on the road are vulnerable. The Pitt Defensive Line also has a few injuries too it and lacks experience. Pitt is a team that can be awful or great. They can take PSU to the wire and then almost lose to Delaware. I think the Blue Devils are in a much better spot at this point in the season. Take Duke.

Texas Tech +10 over Oklahoma State
Tech QB Alan Bowman is out for this game so the line has been pumped up in Oklahoma State’s favor. Jeff Duffey is a very capable backup and we have to remember that the Oklahoma State QB Spencer Sanders is still a freshman himself. Tech is 2-2 in the standings and are feeling desperate. This Red Raiders team has an experienced offensive line, good receivers and an experienced defense. Home field advantage is huge in College Football and I believe this team can take Oklahoma State to the wire. The Cowboys are more of a ball control offense and are not looking to score in 90 seconds like in years past. The Red Raiders need to lean on their offensive line and simply run the football. Take Texas Tech.
