MERRY LADY - This mare is in good physical condition, having run a good race on September 26th, finishing fourth. Don't often see a profitable ROI like +59. This jock/handler tandem has done well together over the last twelve months. Running over a familiar track, where she has won multiple times before, I have to put this animal at the top of my list of top contenders. I just may give this one a fair chance. Should improve off last race where she did run out of the money, but was within 5 lengths at the end. NAUGHTY ME - This jock and trainer have a lucrative ROI when they work together. Looking at this filly's running lines, I see she's almost always in the top three.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 STARSHIP REINA (ML=3/1), #1 SOPHIE'S ANGEL (ML=7/2), #1A HAWT MESS (ML=7/2),

STARSHIP REINA - Going to have a tough go of it with all the other front-runners in this event. SOPHIE'S ANGEL - 7/2 is just too low of a price to take on this thoroughbred. HAWT MESS - Generally I need a sprinter to have some success lately in sprint races in order to support her. Didn't look like a winner last time. Probably won't do much running in today's race. CADILLAC KITTEN - The morning line odds on this gelding are higher than those of the other entrant from the shedrow of handler Clouston. Often the longer-priced part of a 'split' entry wins. I just may give this one a good shot. Should improve off last race where he did run off the board, but was within five lengths at the wire. A repeat of that most recent effort on September 4th where he notched a speed figure of 77 looks lofty enough to triumph in this affair. WAR OR PEACE - Gelding won shipping here on Sep 23rd and looks good right back. This pony coming off a sharp effort in the last 30 days is a solid contender in my opinion. LEMON AGAIN - I like that latest race on Sep 22nd at Belterra Park where he ran third. Don't often see a favorable ROI like +245. This jock/conditioner duo has done well together over the last year. This horse wins a lot of dough per race around the track. At the top in this race.

JOHNNY BANKS - Hasn't raced or had any drills since September 16th. Not much value on this morning-line choice. Notched a somewhat easily forgotten speed rating in the last race in a Starter Allowance race on September 16th. Doubtful to see an improved performance off of that fig. GAME STAR - Granted the last race was nice, finishing first. The lack of any recent activity raises some concerns though. Garnered a run-of-the-mill speed figure last time around the track in a $4,000 Claiming race on September 8th. Not likely to see an improved performance off of that fig. I'M NOT FUNNY - Didn't hit the board on August 20th at Finger Lakes. Followed it up with another lackluster try.
