The NBA Comp play is on Toronto at 8:05 eastern. The Raptors start life without Lenard tonight but were pretty good in games he didnt play last season. Toronto will have a Raucous crowd on hand tonight as they open at home. They will remember the pasting the Pelicans put on the, last season here winning by 16 points. So they will be motivated and have beaten the Pelicans 7 of the last 8 times.. New Orleans was 5-0 in the preseason but should struggle early in games that count as they will be with out Zion for awhile and they work in some new pieces. Look for the Raptors to take this one. Wow what a high total to start the NBA season. This total opened around 231 and this morning the public has moved it down to around 230. The Pelicans were a high scoring preseason team but that was preseason and I see the Raptors playing tough in your face defense. Pelicans will be missing Zion until early December but this team is deep and I see them always playing some good team ball.

The Washington Nationals will look to take a 1-0 lead in the 2019 World Series when they take on the Astros at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX on Tuesday night. Max Scherzer (2-0, 1.80 ERA) will get the start for the Nationals and he will be opposed by Gerrit Cole (3-0, 0.40 ERA), who is scheduled to get the call on the hill for the Astros. Washington has posted a perfect 4-0 record in their last four road games and they are also a perfect 5-0 in their last five interleague contests. They have also won fourteen of their last seventeen games following a win and they are an impressive 15-3 in Scherzer's last eighteen starts. The Astros, for as good as they have been this season, have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here tonight as they have lost seven of their last eight home games against the Nats and they are an awful 7-19 in the last 26 head to head meetings between the two teams overall. Throw in the fact that Washington is also 40-16 in their last 56 games overall and we're going to take them at the big underdog price to get the road win in Houston on Tuesday night.
