Game:(333) BOSTON COLLEGE at (334) SYRACUSE Date/Time: Nov 2 2019 12:00 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Bookmaker Play Rating: 5% Play: BOSTON COLLEGE 3.0 (-110)
This line makes no sense to me at all.
I've made plenty of money fading the Syracuse Orangemen this year as Dino Babers group has not lived up to its potential. They have also been dealing with a very young OL that can't protect their QB Tommy Devito. He's been all over the place as their QB this year. This is a reciepe for disaster against a BC team that has two 240 pound rushers coming in that are pissed off at getting run over by Clemson last week.
Syracuse thus far this year is 0-5 against Power Five teams. Their defensive numbers are a bit padded as they faced Liberty and Holy Cross early on but make no mistake about it. They have issues stopping the run. They gave up 241 yards on the ground to Florida State and lost, they gave up 145 yards on the ground to Pittsburgh and lost and they gave up 201 yards on the ground and won that game only because Tommy Devito was able to throw the ball against a terrible Western Michigan defense.
Boston College strenght is in their OL and running game. They averages 77 plays per game and most of it comes via the run. The Eagles have a RB that will most likely be playing on Sunday's in AJ Dillon and have also groomed David Bailey to be his replacement. Both are monster runners who will have no problem gashing this Syracuse defense for big yardage. BC had a huge game against what was the ACC number one defense against the RUN, North Carolina State, as AJ Dillon ran for 223 yards and three touchdowns & David Bailey had two long TD runs with 181 yards.
The Syracuse Orangement can't stop anyone from sacking their QB either. Syracuse offense ranks outside the top 100 in red zone points per attempt, penalty yards and are dead last in sacks.
This game is way closer to either a pick-em or Boston College as a slight favorite on the road in this matchup. If you can grab a FG right now with this game, don't hesitate to play it.
I'm betting the BC Eagles rush for well over 200 yards and win outright in what will be another game that Syracuse can't stop the run.

Boston College is dead last in the ACC in total defense, and Syracuse isn't much better at No. 11. Meanwhile, the Eagles have been racking up 6 yards per play and have a punishing rushing attack. If you have to pick a side, go with Boston College. But definitely take the over.

PITTSBURGH @ GEORGIA TECH | 11/02 | 4:00 PM EDT
YESTERDAY 6:23 PM
The Yellow Jackets' single-game season high in total offense is 379 yards, and Pitt hasn't given up more than 328 since it beat UCF in a shootout on Sept. 21. This game might not even break 35. Pat Narduzzi vs. a Georgia Tech offense in transition can serve as both a football matchup and a horror movie.

Florida State's quarterback situation is so bad that running back Cam Akers might get more time under center. The news isn't much better for Miami, which hasn't been able to find a reliable signal-caller all season. Defense will rule the day, and neither offense will get cranked up enough to come anywhere close to the total.

The Horned Frogs sprung the slight upset of Texas last weekend, with quarterback Max Duggan leading the charge with 273 passing yards. The true freshman has completed 64.2 percent of his passes in October, which shows that things are starting to click. The Cowboys have a star in running back Chuba Hubbard, but the Horned Frogs have the best run defense in the conference (103.71 yards per game). Duggan will lead his team to the slight upset in a sloppy affair.

Both teams come in to this one rolling, but the Wildcats proved last week that they are not only capable of pulling a big upset, but can contend for the Big 12 title. The Jayhawks defense has given up a whopping 537 yards per game in Big 12 action this year, and have given up 483 or more for four straight games. The Wildcats build off of last week's upset of Oklahoma and pull away late for a cover.

The Gamecocks are the darlings of the college football world after upsetting Georgia, but Florida now knows not to take them likely. Quarterback Kyle Trask was awesome in the loss to LSU in Death Valley, and coach Dan Mullen will take that experience and build off of it. South Carolina will get quarterback Ryan Hilinski back, but how healthy will he be? Can he have success against this Gators defense? I don't think so.

The Badgers will basically dial up any score they want, and they've been scaling it back pretty quickly throughout the course of the season. Unless they make some very uncharacteristic mistakes, the stagnant Illinois offense will have a hard time finding the end zone. This feels like a 38-3 kind of game.

This line is small because the status of Broncos freshman QB Hank Bachmeier is unknown after he suffered a hip pointer vs. Hawaii. But Chase Cord and Jaylon Henderson were fine after Bachmeier went out, so the Broncos are in good hands. Cougars backup Jaren Hall suffered a concussion in the loss to USF, so they could be starting third-stringer Baylor Romney. This is a game of quarterback roulette, but I'm confident with either Bachmeier or Cord having enough success to cover a touchdown.

Mississippi State's quarterback situation is a mess, and its defense has a sieve. Unless LSU QB Joe Burrow gets hit with a cowbell, the Tigers should roll with ease. Take LSU.

The Razorbacks are starting the wrong quarterback by going with Nick Starkel over Ben Hicks, and Kentucky's quarterback situation is so bad that star wide receiver Lynn Bowden is taking significant snaps. Both defenses are bad, but this is a game where the offenses will get in their own way early and often.

Be careful if you just blindly write down the picks for Sallee. Some of these are from last weeks games....one clue is that the correct final score is provided.
