We are getting a cheap price on Portland because of its four-game losing streak. The Trail Blazers are too good not to wake up and begin playing with some intensity. Atlanta is without its best player in John Collins, who is serving a 25-game suspension. Collins is worth six points to the Hawks. I have Portland by 15.

Indiana coach Nate McMillan loves defense, and his team ranks 12th in the NBA in that category. Its pace is 25th with 99.9 possessions per game. Orlando is the second-slowest team in the league (ahead of only Denver) with a pace of 97.8 possessions. The Magic play solid defense as well, ranking third early in the season, but they have an offense that has struggled out of the gate - ranking 29th in points per possession.

The Rams are headed in the right direction as they come out of their bye week 5-3 overall but 6-2 ATS. I love the addition of Jalen Ramsey to the secondary, which gives Aaron Donald more time to get to the quarterback. The Steelers are headed in the right direction as well, but they do not have the same talent as the Rams. Jared Goff has thrown for 2,367 yards in his first eight games. Conversely, Pittsburgh's Mason Rudolph has recorded a little over 1,000 in his five starts and one relief appearance.

The Bengals like to play uptempo while the Ravens love to go the methodical route. The key to the game will be whether or not Baltimore has a letdown after beating New England last Sunday night. Another key is that Cincinnati is seeking its first win with rookie quarterback Ryan Finley now leading the way. The Bengals have been within one score in four of their eight games. As good as the Ravens have been, they are just 3-5 ATS. Cincinnati returns to action after having a week off following its game in London and will face Lamar Jackson for the second time this year.

The Over is 3-2 in the Cardinals' last five contests.

11-4 trend backing the Stars today...who are also 7-1 in the last 8 games and really heating up. Bishop is in net for the road team and Hellebuyck, who I do like, but the Stars have only allowed 3 goals in November winning all 3 contests and putting in 10 goals for the offense that is starting to get it in gear in front of Bishop. Bruins are back after a very gross loss to the Wings....outright in Detroit on Friday. Not often will I say 5.5 and the Under is a DISCOUNT for a 2019 NHL game, but tonight this is what we have...we are anticipating Gibson in net at home and Koskinen in net for the visiting Oilers. This will be a defensive struggle with a couple teams that can turn it on in waves but the netminding will win out here! This number is hanging on a 5.5 but I think very possibly some books could drop this to a nasty 5 and hurt your chances of cashing in a 3-2 game.
The bets are flowing on the Over (as always) and more than 50%, but there has been nary a dime spent on the Over in comparison to the Under in this spot!
