      NBA | Knicks vs Pistons
      Play on: OVER 207½ -110

      1* NBA - Free Pick on Knicks/Pistons over 207½ -110
There's no denying that these are two mediocre at best offensive teams, but I just don't think it's asking a lot for them to combine for 208 or more points. The Pistons did manage just 99 last time out at Washington, but that game still saw a combined score of 214. Only one game all season for Detroit has stayed under the total posted here.
Knicks are struggling offensively, but eventually some of the shots are going to start falling. New York isn't going to keep shooting 41.8% from the field. Detroit is definitely a team they can get going against. Pistons are giving up 112.4 ppg and allowing opponents to shoot 48% from the field.
I also think it will held New York having some fresh legs, as they have had two days off since hosting the Kings. OVER has gone an impressive 10-3 in the Knicks last 13 when playing on 2 days of rest. OVER is also 5-0 in the Pistons last 5 off a sSU loss by 10 or more and 6-2 in the last 8 meetings between these two teams in Detroit. Take the OVER!

The Washington Wizards are 5-1 ATS this season and much better than there 2-4 record. They have losses to the Spurs and Rockets by a combined 3 points. They can go into Indiana and get a win here as 4-point dogs Wednesday night. It’s a vulnerable Pacers team that will be playing for a 2nd straight night and their 3rd game in 4 days. The Pacers had to go into overtime against Charlotte last night which will make them even more tired than a normal back-to-back situation. And they are playing short-handed right now without Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis. The Wizards are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games. Washi

          Play on: UNDER 206 -107

          Dave’s Wednesday Free Play:
          1* on Knicks/Pistons UNDER 206
The Key: Both the Knicks and Pistons have some serious injury concerns right now that will hold them back offensively. The Pistons are without Blake Griffin and their top two guards in Reggie Jackson and Derrick Rose. The Knicks are without Dennis Smith Jr. and Elfrid Payton, their top two point guards. It’s no wonder the Knicks are 6-0 UNDER in their last 6 games overall. They are scoring only 99.6 PPG and shooting 41.8% on the season. The UNDER is 34-16-1 in Knicks last 51 games overall. The UNDER is 24-8 in Knicks last 32 against Eastern Conference teams. The UNDER is 5-0 in Pistons last 5 home games against a team with a losing road record. The UNDER is 7-3 in Pistons last 10 home games. Take the UNDER.

              NCAA-F | Miami-OH vs Ohio
              Play on: UNDER 56½ -110

Take Under the Total in the game between the Miami (OH) Redhawks and the Ohio Bobcats. Miami (4-4) has won three of their last four games after their 23-16 win at Kent State as a 2.5-point underdog back on October 26th. The Redhawks have then played 4 of their last 5 games Under the Total after a straight-up win. Miami has also seen the Under go 5-1-1 in their last 7 games on the road. Ohio (4-4) has also won three of their last four games after their 34-21 win at Ball State as a 1.5-point underdog back on October 26th. The Bobcats have then played 7 of their last 10 games Under the Total after their bye week. And in the last 10 meetings between these two teams, the game finished Under the Total 8 times. Take the Under. Best of luck — Frank.

10* FREE NBA PICK (Over 224)
I'll take my chances here with the OVER 224 in tonight's NBA matchup with Minnesota and Memphis. I just think given the style of play for these two, this game will easily get into the 230's. The Timberwolves are playing faster than everyone so far this season, ranking top of the league in pace of play. Memphis isn't too far back at No. 5 in pace of play. With both teams pretty well rested, we should see both teams flying up and down the court. Not only do both teams like to play fast, they aren't that great defensively. Minnesota is giving up 115.7 ppg and the Grizzlies are allowing 117.3 ppg. Give me the OVER 224!

                    NBA | Magic vs Mavs
Play on: Mavs -7½ -104 at pinnacle

Jack’s Free Pick Wednesday: Dallas Mavericks -7.5
The Luka Doncic/Kristaps Porzingis era is off to a tremendous start. The Mavericks are 4-2 this season and lead the league in offensive efficiency at 113.1 points per 100 possessions. They are scoring 116.7 points per game and have proven tough to tame for opponents.
The Mavericks’ two losses came to Portland by 2 and the Lakers in overtime. That’s how close they are to being 6-0. And the Mavericks come in on two days’ rest having last played on Sunday, so they will be ready to go tonight with the Magic coming to town.
The same cannot be said for the Magic, who will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 4th game in 6 days. They lost 94-102 in Oklahoma City last night and have now failed to score 100 points once in seven games this season en route to a 2-5 start. They Magic are dead last (30th) in offensive efficiency at 95.3 points per 100 possessions, and I just don’t see how they keep up with the Mavericks tonight given the spot.
The Mavericks are 12-3 ATS in home games when playing six or fewer games in 14 days over the last two seasons. The Magic are 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games overall. Orlando is 0-5 ATS in its last five road games. The home team is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. The Magic are 0-4 ATS in their last four meetings in Dallas. Bet the Mavericks Wednesday.

                      1* Free Play on Virginia -3½ -109
There’s no rest for the defending national champions as the #11 Virginia Cavaliers will kick-off their title defense with a tough ACC matchup against the Syracuse Orange.
Over the last six years, Virginia is averaging just six losses a season. While most are predicting a down year for the Cavaliers, Tony Bennett and company have proven they have the experience and talent necessary to rise to the top of college basketball.
Bennett has always employed a mindset that puts team before individual talent, so the Cavaliers should be able replace DeAndre Hunter, Kyle Guy, and Ty Jerome without too much of a drop off. A slow Virginia offense and well-organized defense has helped Virginia rank in the top 25 as a defense every year since 2012.
Mamadi Kiakite could have gone into the draft after averaging 10.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game in the NCAA Tournament, but he elected to return to Virginia.
After a 20-14 season and a loss to Baylor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Jim Boeheim has a difficult job in front of him after losing four starters from last year’s squad.
Much of the offense may come down to Elijah Hughes, who averaged 13.7 points per game last season.

                          NBA | 76ers vs Jazz
Play on: Jazz -2 -104 at pinnacle

My free play is on the Ut Jazz at 9:05 ET.
Joel Embiid served a two-game suspension for his altercation with Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns but will be back in the lineup on Wednesday night when the 76ers visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. His defensive presence was missed in the second game of his suspension, when the Phoenix Suns recorded a 114-109 victory over Philadelphia on Tuesday. Philly (76ers had opened 5-0) became the NBlast A team to lose a game, as Devin Booker operated at will in scoring 40 points on 15-of-19 shooting. 4-3 Utah will be looking to snap a two-game slide that includes Sunday's 105-94 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, where the Jazz were manhandled on the boards by a 54-37 margin,. The 76ers will be happy to have Embiid back near the basket for both his offensive exploits (23.3 PPG) and rebounding prowess (10.3 RPG). Veteran Al Horford (18.8 & 7.7) took advantage of Embiid's absence to average 28.5 points in the two games he missed. Philly's starting-five will now be intact, with Harris(20.3 & 8.8) joining Embiid and Horford in the frontcourt, while Simmons (15.0-6.2-7.7) and Richardson (13.0) start in the backcourt. As for Philly's bench play, 'the jury is still out!' Utah head coach Quin Snyder was far from happy with his team's effort against teh Clippers. "The biggest thing was the defensive glass," Snyder told reporters. "It was too much to overcome if we're not getting bodies on people and getting rebounds. We can have a good possession defensively. But if we don't secure the ball, it's wasted." Center Rudy Gobert wonders why more passes aren't coming his way. He averaged a career-best 15.9 points last season but is five points below that at 10.9. "The drive is great but the pass to the big is a weapon that we have and we don't use it," Gobert told the Salt Lake Tribune. "Usually, I feel like we can lob it up. But once the lob isn't there, we're not really looking. It's on me to get in good positions at the rim, and at the same time, it's on my teammates to want to find me." This is Philly's third road game in five days, while Utah hasn't played since Sunday in LA. The Jazz are led by Mitchell (25.7-4.7-3.3) and the league's top-defense in terms of points allowed (95.6 per). Utah is back home where the team is 3-0, outscoring opponents on average, 107.7-to-90.7 PPG. Embiid's back but Philly falls for a second straight time. Good luck...Larry

                            Chris Jordan

My free play for Wednesday is on the Toronto Raptors, laying the easy touchdown against the Sacramento Kings.

Yes, the Kings have won two straight since their 0-5 start. I don't lend much to the surprising 102-101 win over Utah on Friday, as the Jazz, who let down after a huge win against the Clippers two nights prior. Utah actually lost back-to-back road games after its win, as the Clippers got revenge two nights after the Kings beat the Jazz.

Sacramento started its three-game road trip in the eastern time zone with a 113-92 win at the New York Knicks, another win I'm not impressed by. And with two days off since then, well, I think the Kings would have been better off playing Toronto the next night, with momentum.

The Raptors will be looking to avenge a 115-105 loss in Milwaukee on Saturday. This is a sandwich home game before they leave for five games, in New Orleans, Los Angeles (for two), Portland and Dallas. There won't be any wasting time tonight, against a team that doesn't have the same firepower.

The defending NBA champs swept the two-game series against the Kings in each of the past two seasons. And Sacramento has the fourth-lowest scoring team in the league with 101.1 points per game. The Raptors are averaging 113.0.

Lay the points in this one.

                              COMPLIMENTARY WINNER

My complimentary winner for tonight is on the Utah Jazz in a huge tussle with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Yes, Joel Embiid is back from a two-game suspension, but the Jazz have something to prove and will take advantage of a Sixers team that will be playing its third road game in five nights. Philly opened the trip with a 129-128 victory on Saturday, then lost in Phoenix (114-109) on Monday.

This is a tough trip for the Sixers, who finish the junket in Denver on Friday.

They face an angry Jazz team that is looking to end a two-game slide, including a tough 105-94 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

This is the best game on the card, no doubt, in terms of the matchup. But I'm going to side with the home favorite in this one.
