NCAA-B | Arkansas vs Georgia Tech

My free play is on Arkansas at 7:00 ET.Mike Anderson came to renown at UAB and Missouri, before returning to Arkansas . His eight-year run with the Razorbacks didn't go as planned, as the school made just three NCAA appearances. At the end of last year (18-16, including 8-10 in the SEC), he was fired, marking the end of a 25-year association with Arkansas as both an assistant and head basketball coach. "To the rescue" comes Eric Musslman. He struggled as an NBA head coach going 108-138 in three seasons (two at Golden St and one at Sacramento) but became a star at Nevada. His first season at Reno saw the Wolf Pack go 24-14 and win the CBI title, then three NCAA teams followed, with seasons of 28, 29 and 29 wins. His Razorbacks have opened 5-0 but take to the road for the first time this season tonight in Atlanta against Ga Tech. Josh Pastner is in his 4th season with the Yellow Jackets and his coming off 13 and 14-win seasons.Ga Tech has played just three games, losing for the first time 82-78 at Georgia on Nov 20.
Returning starters Joe (17.4-4.4-3.4) and Jones (17.4 & 5.4) have been joined in the backcourt by Graduate transfer Whitt (14.0 & 5.0). Arkansas doesn't really have a big man, as 6-6 senior Bailey (7.8 & 6.4) is the team's top frontcourt producer. Defense has been the team's strength, as Arkansas is allowing only 47.8 PPG (2nd) on 33.7% shooting (6th), which includes an NCAA-best 13.6% on threes.
Georgia Tech sophomore guard Michael Devoe is tied for third in the nation in scoring at 26.0 PPG and finished with a career-high 34 points in Wednesday’s 82-78 loss at Georgia. Joining him on the perimeter are PG Alvarado (6.0 & 4.5 APG) and VMI transfer Parham (5.3). Ga Tech has much better size than Arkansas, with the 6-11 Banks (11.7 & 8.3), the 6-9 Wright (10.7 & 7.7) and the 6-7 Moore (7.3 & 5.3).
Have to be impressed by Razorbacks' fast start and defensive play but this is the team's first road test, so I'll tread lightly.

The Nets have played really well to open the season despite missing key players along the way. Irving will be out of the lineup once again tonight. This is the second game of a back to back for Brooklyn, but yesterday it played in nearby Madison Square Garden.
Cleveland Has really struggled defensively as of late allowing six straight opponents to reach triple digits, including 143 to Dallas on Friday. This Cavaliers team cannot win consistently without being great on the defensive end of the court. The Cavs haven't won a game all season allowing more than 111 points.
