UNC has a lot to look forward to next season. This is a team that has a legit QB threat with Sam Howell and you can already tell Mack Brown has this program heading in the right direction. The work this year is not yet done because they have a shot to knock off their rival and get a bowl bid. NC State was hit hard with the injury bug this year and has not had the solid QB play they are used to. This team was hit very hard in the secondary with injuries and I believe UNC is going to score a ton of points today. NC State overcame a lot this year and have nothing to lose today. I expect this team to fight as hard as they can. Both teams should put up a good amount of points. Take the Over.

Kentucky is a tough team in the trenches, but lack the overall skill set at the receiver position to be competitive in the SEC. This is a team that was using their best WR and QB for a while. Louisville is loaded with talent and can match any team in the SEC with raw speed. The Cardinals have great play makers who can catch the ball and get tons of yardage after the catch. There is so much speed on this team that I believe they should be the favorites today. The Cardinals have the talent to play with anybody in the country, but many times this year they get in their own way. I expect this team to finish strong this afternoon with a great offensive performance. Take Louisville.

Oregon State +19 over Oregon
Oregon has two things going against them to cover this huge number. First, the loss last week was demoralizing and the goals this team set out for will not be reached this year. The second is they have a PAC 12 Title Game next week and there is no need for them to run up the score and risk injury. Oregon State has improved. This is a team that still struggles with better quality defenses, but their own defense has improved tremendously. This Beavers team is sneaky good on offense with Jake Luton under center. The Beavers have a lot of weapons on offense and should be able to keep pace in this game or at the very least score in garbage time. The Beavers were 1 second away from being bowl eligible last week and couldn’t get it done. I don’t think they can win today, but certainly can keep it close. Take Oregon State.

Analysis: We know Northwestern is really bad this year, but this line takes that into consideration. Statistically, the teams are relatively close as Northwestern is -67 ypg while Illinois is -74 ypg. In fact, against 6 common opponents (Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Purdue, Michigan St and Iowa), Illinois is -152 ypg while Northwestern is -49 ypg. The Wildcats are catching points in this rivalry for the first time since 2011 and are 13-6 SU (+7.9 ppg) and 13-6 ATS (+5.3 ppg) vs Illinois since 2000. This is their bowl while Illinois has already clinched a bowl bid. Also note that Illinois QB Brandon Peters WILL NOT play here. Meanwhile, Northwestern is going with Andrew Marty at QB (led 3 TD drives last week).

Analysis: Last week we cashed fading Oregon and now you have to wonder how they pick themselves off the mat after their CFB Playoff dreams died in the desert. They’re taking on one of the most improved teams in the country this year in Oregon St who needs one win to get to bowl eligibility (season win total was 2). The Beavers have a very capable QB in Jake Luton (28 TD’s and only 3 INT’s) that could easily come through the back-door in this game.
