    NBA | Bulls vs Mavs
Play on: Mavs -9½ -105 at pinnacle

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Dallas Mavericks -9.5
The Mavericks will be focused tonight after listen three of their last four. That includes their upset home loss to the Hornets last time out as double-digit favorites. Now they host the Bulls, who are 0-3 SU & 0-3 ATS in their last three games and will likely be without Lauri Markkanen tonight. The Mavericks are 8-0 ATS off an upset loss as a favorite this season. Dallas is 7-0 ATS in its last seven games following a home loss. The Mavericks are 16-5-1 ATS in their last 22 games following an ATS loss. Dallas is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Give me the Mavericks.

NCAA-B | West Virginia vs Oklahoma State
Play on: Oklahoma State +2½ -115 at Bovada

1* NCAAB - Free Pick on Oklahoma State Cowboys +2½
I like the value here with the Cowboys as a home dog against the Mountaineers. West Virginia has the much better record at 11-2 and are coming off an impressive week where they upset No. 2 Ohio State 67-59 as a 6-point dog and then nearly upset No. 3 Kansas on the road before falling by 7 as a 10-point dog.
That game against the Jayhawks was Saturday and I just think playing a second straight road game on just 1-day of rest is going to be a difficult task for West Virginia, especially given the magnitude of the last two games.
As for Oklahoma State, they are primed for a huge effort here at home after an ugly 35-point loss at Texas Tech, where a close game at the half turned into an absolute blowout.
Mountaineers are also just 8-17-1 ATS last 26 games as a favorite and a mere 2-6 ATS in their last 8 as a road favorite. West Virginia is also a mere 3-12 ATS last 3 seasons after covering 3 of their last 4. Cowboys are 7-1 ATS last 8 as an underdog and 6-1 ATS last 7 off a SU loss. Take Oklahoma State!

Play on: West Virginia PK -109 at GTBets

Jack’s Free Pick Monday: West Virginia PK
The West Virginia Mountaineers are one of the most improved teams in the country this season. They are off to an 11-2 start with their only losses coming by 2 points at St. John’s and by 7 at Kansas as 10-point underdogs.
The Mountaineers have also racked up some quality wins with their road win at Pittsburgh by 15, their neutral site victories over Northern Iowa, Wichita State and Ohio State, and their home win over Rhode Island. That’s the most impressive thing about their record is almost all of their tough games have come on the road, so they are battle-tested.
Oklahoma State has been a disaster here of late. The Cowboys are 2-4 SU & 2-4 ATS in their last six games overall. They have rarely even been competitive. They lost by 7 at home to Georgetown as 11-point favorites, lost by 19 at home to Wichita State as 3.5-point favorites, lost by 20 on a neutral to Minnesota as 3.5-point favorites and were throttled by 35 at Texas Tech as 5.5-point dogs.
The Mountaineers are 6-0 ATS in their last six games following a loss. The road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. The Cowboys are 0-6 ATS in home games vs. good defensive teams that allow 39% or less shooting over the last three seasons. Oklahoma State is 1-8 ATS in home games when playing only its 2nd game in 8 days over the last two years. Bet West Virginia Monday.

My free play is on West Va at 9:00 ET.Bob Huggins became famous while coaching Cincinnati, leading the Bearcats to 16 straight postseason berths, including 14 straight NCAA bids. He was 'forced out' and after spending a year out of the coaching profession, accepted the head coaching job at Kansas State. It was a one-year 'pit stop' (23-12), as he returned to Morgantown (where he was born) to take the West Va job. As expected, he's led West Va to postseason berths in NINE of 12 seasons but is coming off just his second losing season with the Mountaineers, as they were just 15-21 in the 2018-19 season (4-14 in the Big 12 left them in last-place). Here's how Huggins described last season. "You can't lose four starters (during the season) and be successful," he said. "We lost our PG, the best shot-blocker in the nation and two other starters who were pretty good , too, You can't do that!" West Va is 11-2 this season and ranked 16th in the latest AP poll (new poll coming out Monday afternoon) as the Mountaineers visit Stillwater tonight to take on Oklahoma St. The Cowboys won 20 and 21 games under head coach Mike Boynton in his first two seasons but last year went just was just 12-20. However, all FIVE starters are back this season, and OSU is a more promising 9-4.
The Mountaineers upset then-No. 2 Ohio State in Cleveland 67-59 back on Dec 29 and then nearly took down No. 3 Kansas in Lawrence on Saturday, before falling 60-53 in their Big 12 opener. The Mountaineers are re-established their identity so far this season, as a team that wins off Huggins' staples of defense, rebounding and toughness. The 6-10 Culver is back and is averaging 10.5 & 9.6 RPG. He's teamed with 6-9 freshman Oscar Tshiebwe 12.2 & 9.4) to give West Va a formidable inside presence plus the 6-7 Matthews adds 8.8 & 4.6. The backcourt is deep with senior Harley (9.8 & 5.1) and freshman McBride (9.2) leading the way. Defense is again the key to a Higgins-coached team, with West Va holding opponents to 61.8 PPG (39th) on 36.2% shooting (5th), including 24.9% on threes (4th).
Oklahoma State is coming off a poor performance in its conference opener, as the Cowboys were routed at Texas Tech 85-50 on Saturday, their third largest margin of defeat in a Big 12 game ever. They shot just 28.8 percent from the floor. Senior guard Lindy Waters, who leads the team in scoring (12.9), was the only Cowboy to reach double figures against Texas Tech with 13 points. Sophomore guard Isaac Likekele (11.9 PPG plus team highs of 4.6 assists & 2.3 steals) had missed four games due to illness but was part of his first defeat Saturday with just two points on 1-of-6 shooting. 6-10 senior forward Yor Anei adds 10.5 points and a team-best 2.3 blocks per contest, while 6-7 senior forward Cameron McGriff adds 9.6 PPG and tops the team with 6.8 RPG.
Yes, OSU is home and beat West Va in both meetings last season (by identical 85-77 score!) but that was a completely different Mountaineer team. How about 85-77 again here, but with West Va getting the "W."
          Good luck...Larry

Monday free play is Charlotte as the home underdog against Indiana.

Been a rough spell for Indy of late, as they Malcolm Brogdan is now sidelined and the Pacers have dropped their last pair and 4 of their last 5 games in his absence.

Charlotte returns home off of back-to-back road wins, including a nice overtime win at Dallas on Friday night.

Look for the points to work here with the host Hornets, as this series has had a strong home-court dominance emerge.

The home team has won and covered in the pair of meetings already this season, and has won straight up in 8 of the last 10 series meetings between the teams.

Charlotte is on a 9-1 against the spread run at home the past 10 meetings with Indiana and with Brogdan out, I like the home court trends to continue in this one tonight.

              Go with the Hornets.

              2* CHARLOTTE

Comp play for Monday night on the Celtics and the Wizards to net enough points to take this Monday clash in D.C. Over the posted total.

Boston just ended a stretch of 3 straight Unders by playing an Over on Saturday night in Chicago, as the C's have played Over the posted price in 4 of their last 7 games overall. Strong chance they head Over tonight, as Washington is most definitely a team that does not believe in playing much - if any - defense as the Wizards come into this home game allowing nearly 121 points per game on the year.

Not surprisingly, the Wizards have landed Over the total in 3 of their last 4 games and in 7 of 9 overall. For the year, Washington is 21-13-1 Over the total in their 35 games contested. One of those Overs came at Boston in the middle of November when the Celtics took a 140-133 decision over the Wizards. That Over put the series numbers at 8 of the past 9 between the teams having landed Over the posted price.

I expect the Over trends that both teams bring to the hardwood tonight to hold water, as I see this Boston-Washington meeting landing Over the total to make it 9 of the last 10 in the series in the Over column.

                Celts-Wizards Over.

                2* BOSTON-WASHINGTON OVER

For Monday’s freebie, we’ll head to the NBA hardwood and play the Jazz as a short road favorite at New Orleans.

I understand this game ends Utah’s three-game road trip as well as a stretch in which the Jazz have played seven of eight on the highway. But even if there’s a small concern about Utah’s road weariness, this line still doesn’t make any sense at all. The Jazz have won 10 of their last 11 games—two separate five-game winning streaks sandwiched around a narrow 107-104 loss at Miami.

During this 11-game stretch, the Jazz are 8-2-1 ATS, 6-1 on the road (5-1-1 ATS) and they’ve posted seven wins by 7 points or more, including a 120-107 rout of the Clippers in Los Angeles, a 127-116 blowout of the TWolves in Minnesota and Saturday’s 109-96 beatdown of the Magic in Orlando.

Sure, the Pelicans have been playing much better of late, going 6-2 SU and 6-1-1 ATS since snapping their season-long 13-game losing skid. New Orleans has even taken down some big dogs during this stretch, topping the Rockets and Pacers at home and the Nuggets and Blazers on the road. But tonight they’re playing their third game in four nights (following roadies at the Lakers on Friday and Sacramento on Saturday). Not only that, but including tonight, New Orleans has played in a different city in nine of its last 10 games.

Lastly, if you believe in history, the Jazz have owned the Pelicans over the last half-decade, going 15-5-3 ATS in the last 23 meetings overall and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 visits to the Big Easy. That includes a 128-120 victory on Nov. 23, with Utah covering as a 5½-point home chalk. And in its last four trips to New Orleans, the Jazz have prevailed by margins of 114-104 (March 2019), 132-111 (Oct. 2018), 116-99 (March 2018) and 133-109 (Feb. 2018).

                  3* UTAH

My free winner is on the ice, where I'm playing the Columbus Blue Jackets against the Los Angeles Kings. Columbus sets out on rugged Pacific Division tour, with games tonight and tomorrow (in Anaheim), and then Thursday (in San Jose) and Saturday (in Las Vegas).

I can only imagine how excited the media outlets are in each town because they get to interview nutjob coach John Tortorella.

The Blue Jackets are going to come into this one fired up after having their season-best 12-game regulation unbeaten streak (8-0-4) snapped with a 3-2 loss to underachieving San Jose on Saturday.

Columbus arrives at Staples Center after picking up points in seven-straight road outings (4-0-3).

The Jackets have allowed 24 goals over the past 13 game, which is a 1.85 goals against average per game, best in the league in that span. They rank second in the league in goals against per game since Nov. 1, at 2.37.

                    Bad matchup for the Kings.

                    3* BLUE JACKETS
