I'll take my chances here with Denver as a slim 1.5-point home favorite against the Jazz. Utah went on that incredible run that saw them go 19-2 over a 21-game stretch, but have lost their last two. The first being a shocking home loss to Houston as a double-digit favorite, as the Rockets were without Harden, Westbrook and Capela. That was on Monday. Last night they lost 127-120 at San Antonio, allowing a Spurs team down one of their best players in LaMarcus Aldridge to shoot 56%.
Now they are in absolute brutal spot playing in the 2nd game of a back-to-back and 3rd in 4 days in the thin air of Denver against what should be a highly motivated Nuggets team that is coming off a 12-point loss at Memphis. Denver is still missing some key guys to injury, but this is a deep team and those injuries really haven't bothered them so much at home. where they are 18-6 on the season.
Nuggets are 8-3-3 ATS in their last 14 games off a loss and have not lost consecutive games since losing 3 in a row on the road in early December. It's also worth noting the Jazz are a mere 1-5 ATS in their last 6 trips to Denver. Give me the Nuggets -1.5!
