Monday CBB Free play. My selection is on Texas plus the points over Kansas at 9 pm et on Monday.
I think the combination of Texas' ugly 38-point beatdown at the hands of West Virginia on national TV two weeks ago and the fact that it dropped a nine-point decision at home against Kansas back on January 18th is leaving this line a little higher than it should be on Monday night. Since that blowout loss to the Mountaineers, the Longhorns have gone 2-1 with their lone loss coming by just two points against a good LSU squad on January 25th. While Kansas keeps piling up wins, it has been somewhat inconsistent. Two of its last three games certainly could have gone either way, sandwiching a blowout win at Oklahoma State last Monday (the Cowboys simply didn't show up for that one). While I'm not about to predict an outright upset here, I do think the Longhorns can give the Jayhawks some trouble on Monday. Take Texas (8*).

They haven’t forgotten and will certainly be out to avenge that shocking defeat tonight. It’s a rested Timberwolves team that will be playing just their 2nd game in 7 days. I question the Kings’ motivation after facing the Clippers and Lakers in their last 2 games coming in, and having beaten the Timberwolves a week ago. Motivation and rest is definitely on the road team’s side in this one. Take Minnesota.
