Both teams are struggling in the ACC. Wake just lost to Virginia despite not having a few of their top players on the floor. Notre Dame isn’t one of the faster tempos, but will have a lot more possessions than a team like Virginia. Wake is going to have a tough time keeping up in this game without Brandon Childress, Chaundee Brown. The Irish don’t foul and they don’t turn the ball over so Wake is going to have to earn their points the hard way. This Irish Defense isn’t great, but it’s better than the Wake Offense that just can’t be productive without their top scorers. Notre Dame has veteran leadership and can score behind the three point line. At some point the Irish will go on a run that Wake won’t be able to cut into. Take Notre Dame.

The Red Raiders could be in a letdown spot after they overcame a double-digit deficit against Kentucky in the Big 12-SEC challenge on Saturday, only to lose by two in overtime. But resilience has been a hallmark of the program under coach Chris Beard. Texas Tech has a chance to bounce back Wednesday against a West Virginia club that has been beating up conference foes at home, but has one just one of its last three conference road games. The Red Raiders also can avenge a double-digit loss in the first meeting.

Past 3 games of all the teams in the NBA...in the first half...the Grizz have the top offensive rating and best defensive rating, coming in with a 20 net rating in the 3 wins since the debacle in Boston. Both these teams are on no rest AND travel...with the Grizz off a nice win with the Knicks off a bad loss. Grizzlies proved they can beat a team that ISN'T. bottom dweller last night as they took down the Nuggets...albeit very banged up, while the Knicks went to Charlotte and put up 92 points in a loss to the Hornets...winless most of January and in those losses the worst offensive rating and worst net rating as a team in January.
Also backing a 12-5 trend last 17 games in this specific spot with both teams on no rest.
Grizzlies are hungrier than ever, need every game they can get if they really want to possibly sneak into the playoffs...and no travel and lack of rest should stop them from imposing their will on a much lesser team!
