Rotation #639
Oklahoma +3 over WVU
the Sooners are one of the few teams that can match up with WVU physically. This is an Oklahoma team that is built to compete with this type of offense as WVU isn’t that great of a three point shooting team. I believe this is going to be an ugly slop fest with the difference being the Sooners big men having the ability to step back and hit the three ball. Home court advantage is big in a game that you know is going to get chippy. Take Oklahoma.

Rotation #641-642
Purdue/Indiana Over 130
Indiana is a team that sometimes can be bullied and can give up a lot of points at the rim. This is a game in which Matt Haarms has to prove he is tough enough to be a big time center in Big 10 play. Indiana is always good at knocking down three point shots and home so I think we are going to see a lot of points in this game. Purdue had and offensive explosion in their last game and I expect that to carry over into today. The last few games in this series have been low scoring so Vegas has no choice but to set a generous low total based on past history. Take the Over.

Rotation #674
Louisville -7.5 over Virginia
Virginia has owned this series and at times you look at Louisville sideways trying to figure out why so much talent can be so sloppy at times, but there is just no denying how bad the Virginia offense is this year. Every veteran player on this experienced Cardinals team is ready for payback against a program that just won the title last year. This team doesn’t care if Virginia had a lot of turnover in their roster. This team will be super focused after their excellent 2nd half in their last game. I don’t think the Cavs can keep up with the offensive production the Cardinals are going to bring today. Take Louisville.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAYS
3 Unit Play. Take #642 Indiana -2.5 over Purdue (2:00p.m., Saturday February 8 ESPN)
Indiana is 12-2 at home and rumor has it that legend head coach Bobby Knight could be at attendance. The crowd will be loud and let's face it Purdue is a totally different team on the road and I see a big IU 'W' this afternoon. Purdue is 1-6 ATS following a SU win and the Boilermakers are 0-5-1 ATS as a road underdog. The home team in this series is 3-0-1 ATS last 4 meetings and again Indiana wins by 6 points.
3 Unit Play.* Take #696 Hofstra -3.5 over Northeastern (4:00p.m., Saturday February 8)
A little shocked that this number dropped overnight especially with Northeastern dropping 3-Straight and 6 out 8. Hofstra comes into this home game winning 3-Straight and their last home game they won by double-digits beating Drexel 72-59. The Hofstra Pride are 8-2 ATS following a SU win and the Pride are 6-2 ATS as a home favorite.
7 Unit Play. Take #811 Over 148.5 Gonzaga at St. Mary's Ca (10:00p.m., Saturday February 8 ESPN2)
(Line available at betMGM, Stations and multiple Global Books)
Thursday night we cashed with the 'Over' in the LMU/Gonzaga game and tonight we are going back with the high power offense of the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Tonight the Zags travel to University Credit Union Pavilion to battle St. Mary's and yes I know the 'Under' usually hits when these two teams meet but the Zags offense is rolling right now. Gonzaga is averaging 88.5ppg this year and their last 5 conference road games they are averaging 87.2ppg. St. Mary's is averaging 76.8ppg this year and they come into this big home game trending 'Over' games cashing 6 out 10. St. Mary's last home game they beat Portland 86-64 and wouldn't shock me to see a big offensive game tonight. Gonzaga is 8-1 O/U in their last 9 road games and the Bulldogs are 21-5 O/U in their last 26 games. St. Mary's is 5-1 O/U following a ATS loss and the Gaels are 4-1 O/U as a home underdog.
