3-unit Play. #531. Take Dallas Mavericks -3.5 over Charlotte Hornets. (Saturday @ 7:00 pm est)

We like for the Mavericks to bounce back from a last second loss at Washington on Friday night. They make the short trip from DC to Charlotte looking to get back to winning ways. Dallas let their last meeting with Charlotte slip away in early January, losing 123-120 in overtime. There is no doubt that the visitors are the more talented side. Dallas are averaging 13 point points per game than Charlotte and are scoring six more points per game then they are giving up. Dallas are getting closer to having Luka Doncic back, but as we saw in last night's loss, they are finding their footing in his absence. The visitors are landing in Charlotte at the right time as well with the host losing three in a row including a 15 points loss at Houston and a 12 point loss to Orlando at home. The Hornets are 0-3 so far in February and are just not playing well. Dallas must capitalize on a struggling Hornets side which we expect will pay off in a big win tonight.

7-Unit Play #807-808 UC Irvine/UC Santa Barbara GAME TOTAL OVER 137.5 (Saturday, February 8 at 10:00 PM ET)
Take UC Irvine/UC Santa Barbara GAME TOTAL OVER as my top college basketball pick for Saturday night. This pick falls into one my top college basketball systems and I have this game flying over the posted total here tonight. UC Irvine has averaged 76.8 points per game over their last 5 games while shooting 49.2% as a team and they have allowed opponents to shoot 38.4% against them from beyond the arc on the road this season. UC Santa Barbara has averaged 75 points per game at home this season while shooting 50.3% as a team and opponents have averaged 70.6 points per game against them over their last 5 games while shooting 48.7% against them over those 5 games. Opponents have also shot 37.2% against UC Santa Barbara from beyond the arc against them at home this season and both of these teams are very good from the line with UC Irvine knocking down 74.7% on the road and UC Santa Barbara knocking down 77.3% at home this season. The over/under is 5-1 in the Anteaters last 6 road games and the over/under is 4-1 in the Gauchos last 5 games when playing a team that has a win rate above .600. Play the OVER and make sure you get on my 5-Unit NBA Play and 6-Unit NHL Play that goes Saturday night as my dominating +16,535 all sports run continues.

        7-Unit Play. Take #527 Milwaukee (-9)* over Orlando (5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8)
The Bucks are 44-7 this year and have been one of the best teams in the NBA. They should keep it going here against a weak Orlando team. The Magic are just 1-7 SU and ATS in their last eight gams and are coming off a loss to the Knicks. Milwaukee has won three straight SU and ATS and blew out the 76ers by 11 in their last game. Milwaukee is 4-1 ATS in its last five road games and they are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games on a Saturday. Orlando is 1-5 ATS as a home underdog and they are just 8-19 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a winning record. The Magic are 0-5 ATS as an underdog and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games. Milwaukee has been blowing out bad teams in the East all season long. I think that they will do it again this evening. Lay the points.

3-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 218.5 Brooklyn at Toronto (7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8)
The Raptors are red hot! They have won 10 straight games and they are doing good things on offense. They have gone 'over' in three straight and five of their last six games and Toronto is averaging 117 points per game over their winning streak. Brooklyn is just No. 18 in defense this year and I don't think that they will be able to stop Toronto. Brooklyn scored 129 points in their last game and they have gone' over' in five of their last seven games as an underdog. Take the 'over' here.

                4-Unit Play. Take #654 Villanova (-3.5) over Seton Hall (2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8)

This is a big game in the Big East. I will go with the home team. This line opened at 2.5 and has been bet up to this level. That tells me where the sharp money is in this one. Villanova is one of the best home teams in college basketball. The Wildcats have won seven of the last eight meetings in this series and they are 17-7 ATS at home against a team with a winning record. Villanova is coming off a rare loss and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six games after a loss. The home team is 4-1 ATS in this series and I will go with the home team here.

                4-Unit Play. Take #772 Xavier (-4) over Providence (2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8)

I will take the home team in this game. Xavier is 10-3 SU at home this year and Providence is just 3-4 SU on the road. I had this number at 6.5 so I think that there is value here. Providence is coming off an upset win over Creighton and I don't see them winning this one. Xavier is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games on Saturday and I like them to get the job done. Lay the points.

                4-Unit Play. Take #811 Gonzaga (-6) over St. Mary's (10 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8)

Gonzaga is 24-1 this year and they are the No. 2 team in the country. I think that they will get this win over the Gaels. Gonzaga has dominated St. Mary's. This series has been very lopsided over the past 10 years and Gonzaga is an outstanding 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against St. Mary's. The Gales were able to get the upset in the WCC Tournament last March. Gonzaga will want to get revenge from that one. St. Mary's is just 4-12 ATS as an underdog and they are just 6-13 ATS at home. They do not have a strong home court advantage and are 0-6 ATS as a home underdog

                      PURDUE @ INDIANA | 2/08 | 2:00 PM EST
Purdue has maintained a steady pattern of impressive home wins followed by poor showings in road losses. The Boilermakers got a much-needed rout of Iowa in their last game, but now face an Indiana club in a similarly dire situation. The Hoosiers haven't won since their upset of Michigan State two weeks ago and need this one to get at .500 in conference play. Although they have struggled with Purdue's physicality in recent matchups, look for them to find a way to get the win.
