    NBA | Hornets vs Wolves
Play on: Hornets +8½ -109 at pinnacle

    Dave’s Wednesday Free Play:
    1* on Charlotte Hornets +8.5
The Key: The Minnesota Timberwolves cannot be favored by 8.5 points against anyone right now. They traded away Andrew Wiggins, Jeff Teague and Robert Covington and are left with a bunch of G-League players outside D’Angelo Russell and Karl Anthony-Towns. They play zero defense and are in the midst of the worst stretch of any team in the NBA this season. The Timberwolves are 1-14 SU & 2-13 ATS in their last 15 games overall. They have given up 113 points or more in 9 straight games. The Hornets should be able to keep this game close as they come in rested playing just their 3rd game in 9 days. Minnesota is 0-8 ATS after allowing 130 point for more this year. The Hornets are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 road games against a team that wins less than 40% of their home games. The Timberwolves are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite. Take Charlotte.

          NBA | Heat vs Jazz
Play on: Jazz -4½ -108 at pinnacle

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Utah Jazz -4.5
The streaky Utah Jazz are back on one of their good streaks. After winning 19 of 21 games, they had lost five in a row prior to winning three straight. They are now 22-7 in their last 29 games overall. The Jazz are coming off back-to-back impressive road wins at Houston and Dallas and are back home tonight looking to finish strong in their final game before the All-Star Break. They host a tired Miami Heat team that will be playing their 5th straight road game in a span of 8 days. They dropped their first three road games all by 6 points or more before winning at Golden State. The Heat are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games playing on one day of rest. The Jazz are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games against a team with a losing road record. Utah is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Give me the Jazz.

            Play on: UNDER 217½ -102

MIKE'S HEAT @ JAZZ FREE PICK
The Utah Jazz are coming off a 123-119 triumph at Dallas, but I think we'll see far fewer points in Wednesday night's matchup with Miami.
While the Heat thrives at home, they're mediocre at best on the road with a 13-15 record while averaging only 107.7 ppg, way below their 111.9 ppg average overall. Utah meanwhile is holding opponents to 104.3 ppg (4th) home at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Additionally, Utah's pace factor (possessions per game) is just outside the bottom five and Miami is just outside the bottom third.
Under is 5-1 in Heat last 6 road games and 6-2 in their last 8 overall. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
            Free pick on UNDER.

              NBA | Lakers vs Nuggets
Play on: Nuggets +2½ -105 at Bovada

              Nuggets +2.5
Tonight the LA Lakers 40-12 (27-24-1 ATS) travel to the Mile High City to take on the Denver Nuggets. 38-16 (27-24-3 ATS). We get one heckuva matchup tonight. A team that has won 18 of 22 (LA) vs. a team that has won 18 of their last 22. This game tips off at 10pm ET from the the Pepsi Center in Denver. The Lakers are currently -2.5pt favorites and the over/under is set at 219.5.
Last game out the Lakers took down the Suns 125-100 as they held the Suns to 42% from the field. They also owned the glass in this one, which they're improving on game after game. The Lakers have scored 125 in four of their last five.
Last game out for Denver they grabbed a season defining win over the Spurs 127-120 on the road, as they came back from a 23 point hole. Canadian Jamal Murray was all world in this one and is really picking his teammates up. The Nuggets are looking for revenge for their loss at the Pepsi Center earlier this year (105-96). Denver did win game 2 128-104 in LA.
The Nuggets will role out a new weapon tonight too. Reserve SG Jordan McRae. Last game out he had 8 points 5 boards in 16 minutes. Every little bit will help Jokic, Murray, Harris & Millsap.
Plumlee, Barton & Porter are out tonight for Denver. Dozier will be a GTD. As always Davis will be a GTD for the Lakers (expected to play) and Cousins is OUT until May.
Some trends to consider. LA Lakers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games when playing on the road against Denver. Denver are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games, 6-1 SU in their last 7 games, and finally they're 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games at home. Denver have won 4 straight and 8 of 10.
Play Denver at home as they go up 2-1 in the season series.
              Good Luck, Razor Ray.
