    GC: NBA

Hump day card has the NCAAB TIER 1 Executive Level top play and the Big East Game of the Month along with our Never lost Pre All Star break NBA Top Plays. Below is one of our NBA Plays.

The NBA Road warrior is on Toronto at 7:35 eastern. The Raptors fit the nice 11-0 system below which is a subset of a 75-47 base system that pertains to road favorites with 4+ days of rest upcoming vs an opponent like Brooklyn that returns home off a road spread win of 7 or more points. The Nets are 1-10 ats in their last 11 home dog losses. The Raptors have covered 7 of 9 here in Brooklyn and have won 28 of 31 vs losing teams. We will ride with the Raptors tonight. On Wednesday we have our Executive Level TIER 1 NCAAB Side, and the Big East Game of the Month, We also have a Top NBA Pre All Star Break play with a 31-1 angle. See us on facebook to jump on. For the NBA Free play. Take Toronto. Rob V- GC Sports.

        1-Unit Play. Take #782 Butler (-5.5) over Xavier (6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12)
I think that Butler will bounce back after getting blitzed by Marquette. This team has been a little worn down, but some home cooking should do the trick. I don't care that Xavier has won three in a row; this still isn't a very good team. AThey aren't good on the road and I just don't see them getting a third straight road win. They shouldn't have beaten Providence over the weekend and I think that eventually their luck is going to run out.

        3-Unit Play. Take #784 Seton Hall (-6) over Creighton (6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12)

Seton Hall is the best team in the Big East. Period. Creighton is good. They are a good team and I like how they play, running around chucking 3's from everywhere. But they aren't as good as Seton Hall. The Pirates last home game was that weird 11 a.m. tip-off when they got throttled by Xavier. I think that they are going to want to rebound in a big way on their home court. Creighton is not as good away from home as they are in theor own gym. Yes, they have a great win at Villanova and have been better on the road this year. But they also got blown out by Butler and Providence on the road mainly because they couldn't handle those two teams on the inside. I think it is going to be more of the same here and I like the Pirates to make a statement.

        1-Unit Play. Take #786 Georgia (-2.5) over South Carolina (7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12)

At some point Georgia has to win a game. They have too much talent on this team to continue to throw up on themselves. They blew a double-digit lead to Alabama over the weekend. Maybe I'm still a little salty about that loss, but I'm going to go back to them here. South Carolina is dealing with some nagging injuries. They also haven't been very good on the road and it is tough to trust a team that can't make 3-pointers or free throws. USC has also benefitted from a pretty cushy SEC schedule to this point and I think that they are due for a stumble here.

        2-Unit Play. Take #806 Miami (-3.5) over Boston College (7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12)

I think the Hurricanes have played the toughest schedule in the country. Hand's down. It is insane how difficult Miami's schedule has been this year. As a result, I think that this team is better than their 11-12 record suggests. They have been dealing with major injury issues, but for the most part they are healthy now (although it is 50-50 whether Rodney Miller plays tonight). If Miller is back from his sprained ankle these guys will be at full strength for the first time in a month. And for the first time in a month they will be playing one of the other bottom tier teams in the ACC. At home no less! I think they will take advantage of a rare soft spot and I think that they will catch Boston College in a letdown here after their OT win at Virginia Tech on Saturday; I simply don't see B.C. winning three straight road games.

        7-Unit Play. Take #808 VCU (-14) over George Mason (7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12)

I don't love laying a big number like this. But I think that this game is going to be a bloodbath. The Rams have been known to go absolutely apeshit on people in their home gym and I think that this will be the case here. They've only played three home games in the last month so it is easy to forget how good this team can be in its own gym. Those last three home games were a 28-point win over St. Bonaventure, a 19-point win over Richmond, and an 11-point win over Davidson. All three of those teams are a hell of a lot better than George Mason! VCU won't be looking past the Patriots A) because this is a rival so they won't show any mercy and B) because the Rams need to make up some serious ground in the A-10 standings and if they want a shot at an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament. George Mason is just sad. Injuries have hurt this team and they come into this game with a freshman point guard and two other sophomores. These guys aren't ready for this. Mason is a terrible shooting team. So even if they can handle the VCU pressure they still won't make enough shots to keep this one competitive. Mason is on a four-game losing streak and this is their third straight road game. I just don't know what they are going to have in this game and I think that they are going to get rolled.

        1-Unit Play. Take #838 Villanova (-5) over Marquette (8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12)

I don't like laying out points to Markus Howard. Ever. But Villanova has to be in desperation mode here after losing three straight games. I can't remember the last time these guys lost four in a row and I don't remember the last time they lost three straight home games. Villanova has revenge for an 11-point loss in Marquette on Jan. 4 and I will take several good shooters for Nova to take down one incredible shooter for the Eagles.
I have leans on Alabama, Ohio State, Richmond, Temple, West Virginia, Florida, East Carolina and Michigan.

UNC Greensboro’s elevated play is at peak levels. The Spartans have scored season highs against Division I opponents in consecutive games with 88 against Citadel and 95 against Samford. Furthermore, they held Western Carolina to a season-low 58 points on Jan. 29. Back the favorite Wednesday.

Georgia Tech’s gritty play has been valuable ATS despite its below .500 record of 11-13. In fact, the Yellow Jackets' last six losses in ACC play have been by single digits. Look for the Yellow Jackets to play the Cardinals close again Tuesday, as they did on Jan. 22 in a 68-64 road loss. Grab the underdog and the points.

The Heat have been much better than everyone was expecting, but they've done most of that damage at home. Their home/road splits truly are amazing, as they're 22-3 in Miami, and just 13-15 on the road. Now, they have to take on a Jazz team that has a great homecourt advantage of its own. In Utah, the Jazz are 19-5 and outscoring teams by 7.2 points per 100 possessions. If that wasn't enough, the Heat are playing their fifth road game in eight days, and doing so in the high altitude of Salt Lake City. Give me the Jazz.

The Canucks are at home against the Blackhawks, who are playing the second night of a back-to-back. The Blackhawks outshot Edmonton last night but allowed more than three goals and lost on the road (5-3). Now they're a road dog, and this season, teams in that position are 16-30. The Canucks are 6-2 this season as home favorites when they are more rested than their opponent. We are on the Canucks.

The Hurricanes returned Cameron McGusty and Chris Lyles from injury in their last game. However, center Rodney Miller was out with a sprained ankle.Miller is probable Wednesday, so it will be the first time in over a month the entire starting lineup will be on the court. With everyone in the lineup, I have Miami the No. 88-ranked team in the country and Boston College No. 165. I made Miami-9, so take the Hurricanes.

                        1:59 PM
Canisius is just 22 miles from Niagara. This is a big rivalry, and the road team is 10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings. When schools are this close, the visitor at times has almost as many fans in the building. Niagara won both games last year, so Canisius comes in with revenge as motivation. This one has been circled on the calendar. Niagara has had a difficult year starting with the firing of coach Patrick Beilein in October. Canisius is 5-2-2 ATS in its last nine road games. These are two bad teams, but I have Canisius ranked 204th and Niagara 284th. Take the better team playing for revenge.

                        1:53 PM
Buy low and sell high. Butler is 3-5 straight-up and 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight games while Xavier has won and covered its last three. But Butler is very well balanced, ranking 30th in defensive efficiency and 29th in offensive efficiency, while Xavier ranks 116th in offense and 22nd in defense. This looks like the perfect turning point for Butler, which started the year 15-1 with the only loss to Baylor and is 11-2 at home. Lay the points.

                        2:20 PM
Ohio State has gone Under in four of its last five games and Under 128 in all five of those contests. The Under is 8-4 for the Buckeyes at home and 6-2 in their last eight games as a favorite. Both teams play at a slow pace and are ranked higher in defense than offense. Rutgers is the 119th offensive team with the 10th-best defense while Ohio State is more balanced at 29th and 19th, respectively.

                            Providence -1.5 over St. John’s
You never know which Providence team you are going to get and they do play some head scratching basketball at times, but the Friars have owned this recent series and I can’t see St. John’s snapping it tonight with star player Mustapha Heron sidelined possibly for the season which would end his career. Heron is a great rebounder, shooter and overall is the veteran leader of this team. It’s going to be a lot harder to grab offensive and defensive rebounds without him. Providence is a veteran team with more playing minutes together than just about any team in the nation. Ed Cooley still has a huge advantage of Mike Anderson who will need a season or two to mold the team to his liking. Take Providence.

6-Unit Play. #795. Take Over 160 Alabama vs. Auburn (Wednesday @ 7pm est)

Great 4-0 Run, let's make it 5-0 as we likely have a 6* or higher selection today. Note, that a lot is going on in this game and we'll get to it. Do note though that we have gone 4-0 the last 2 days in Basketball with back/back sweeps including a 5*NBA Winner yesterday as well and we have now posted +5000 in the NBA and keep rolling nicely. We have posted considerable profit between the NBA/CBB/NHL/XFL/Soccer and that includes a 5-0 Run in Soccer as well. And, we might have a 7*NBA Today so be sure to check the site as well. Save money and join us for the entire Season in all these sports. As per this game, we like the Over here as Nate Oats team is a very different team as they average 10+ three pointers per game which is 6th in the country. This is a team that already beat Auburn badly this year 83-64 in the first meeting and the game totaled at 147 points. The difference here though is that Auburn has revenge and will not shoot 17/30 from 3 point land, or their star player won't score 6 points or the fact they will not score just 64 points like they did against Alabama. And, I think Alabama will be a wonderful active dog too - this team was down 12 against Georgia and rallied to win in double-overtime and Bama needs this game a lot more than Auburn does to get to the NCAA Tourney and a sweep of Auburn will go a long way. We roll with the Over today for our 5th straight CBB Winner.

6-Unit Play. #507. Take Under 223.5 Toronto vs. Brooklyn Nets (Wednesday @ 7:35pm est)

We roll with the Under here between these two teams in what could been seen as a surprise selection and one that takes guts to make given that these two tems just scored 237 points a few days ago in a 119-118 final that saw the Raptors win. Note, that we have gone 4-0 in cbb/nba in back to back sweeps including a nice 5*NBA Winner yesterday on the Bulls/Wizards Over and sit at a very nice +5000 on the year currently. Per this play, we like the Under here as we think this game will have a more defensive tinge to it. As the Raptors come off scoring 130+ points in their last game, in fact nearly 140 against the Twolves, the Nets area aware of that. They are aware they gave up 119 points to this team last time and I think they will play substantially better defense at home today. The Nets just held the Pacers to 105 points on the road, they still don't have Kyrie and have to rely on their defense and come together, they held the Warriors to 88 points at home before that (which is not easy to do since the Warriors were on a winning streak coming into that game). Heck, the Nets even held the Suns to 97 points at home in the game prior to that. Look for a hotly contested game today that likely sees the Raptors win, but more importantly, sees this game go Under the posted total today.
