5-unit Play. #200326. Competition: English Championship. Take Fulham -1(-120) over Barnsley. (Saturday @ 10:00 am est) (For this to Win, Fulham must Win by 2 or more goals, If Fulham Win by exactly 1 goal, this is a Push, Regulation + Injury time).
In a very tight race for a spot in next season's Premier League, Fulham sit just outside the automatic promotion zone only on goal difference. They are level on points with a Leeds side that cannot get out of their own way. With ten teams separated by just ten points and a ton of soccer left to play Fulham need this win to maintain control of their own destiny. Fulham are on a three-match unbeaten run after drawing 1-1 at Millwall midweek. At Craven Cottage, Fulham are winners of their last three in a row and four of their last five. They face a last place Barnsley side that is winless in their last six-matches and are now two-points behind 23rd place Luton Town and nine points away from safety. Fulham will want revenge after Barnsley snapped their four-match winning streak that dated back to 2016. Fulham are 3-1-0 at home against the visitors lifetime and we expect a big win on Saturday.

4-0 against the spread during the league's first week of action.

          DC -5.5

          NEW YORK @ DC | 2/15 | 2 p.m. ET

The Guardians allowed the fewest amount of points last week, but that's not the full story -- their 5.55 yards allowed per play was the second-worst in the league in Week 1. Their offense also tied for the worst in the league with a 10 percent conversion rate on third downs. On the flip side, the Defenders ranked third in yards per play on both offense and defense, and posted the best passing-yards-per-attempt number by a wide margin. With one of the best offenses in the league, the Defenders should be able to expose the Guardians' defense, and I don't think the more conservative offensive game plan of New York will be able to keep up.

          SEATTLE +2

          TAMPA BAY @ SEATTLE | 2/15 | 5 p.m. ET

I was ready to take the Vipers here, as their offense actually played very well in Week 1, ranking second in yards per play despite scoring just three points. But the Dragons fared better than expected last week, as QB Brandon Silvers played a good Defenders team largely to a draw on a cross-country trip, with two defensive/special teams scores providing the difference. And speaking of cross-country, this is the toughest possible road game in the XFL, with Tampa Bay heading to the Pacific Northwest. That matters, as does the Vipers being on the road for the second straight week. We'll fade them again here and look to get good value on the team starting in Week 3.

            TAMPA/SEATTLE UNDER 46 -110 (WHill)

Both teams are dealing with quarterback injuries, and Tampa specifically will change the game plan dramatically, as the backup flowers is a running QB. Seattle is not only dealing with an injury to their QB but also are banged up at WR and TE. These offenses both struggled mightily in their first game, and with bad weather coming in Seattle, expect that to continue!

UPDATE: This play is good down to 43.

            DALLAS -3.5 -110 (Fanduel)

Despite their week one loss with a backup QB, Dallas is one of the top teams in the XFL and will be getting back MVP candidate Landry Jones. Meanwhile, LA was the worst team YPP wise on offense AND defense last week. If LA QB Josh Johnson doesn’t play, we have a GREAT bet. If Johnson plays, I think we still have a decent play, as LA has the leagues worst offensive line, a QB who isn’t fully healthy, and just fired their DC and released their defensive captain after one game.

5% TOP Premier League Underdog Alert

              Burnley +0.75 (-110)

              England Premier League

              (200145) Burnley at (200146) Southampton

Southampton was on a very nice run before losing to Wolverhampton at home on Jan 18, racing out to a 2-0 halftime lead before conceding three in the 2nd half and ultimately losing 2-3. Including that match, they have just one win in their last five games, although two of those games were against Tottenham in the FA Cup and the other was a 0-4 beatdown at Liverpool. On the season, Southapmton has the worst home record in the Premier league at just 3-2-7 with a 13:28 goal differential which is skewed thanks to a 0-9 loss to Leicester, but still doesn't change the fact that they have just three wins with losses against Bournemouth, West Ham and Everton and a draw against Palace. All three of their wins came by one single goal as well.

Burnley has put up some very good results in their last three league matches. After losing 0-3 at Chelsea on Jan 11, they won 2-1 at home against Leicester, won 2-0 at Man United and drew 0-0 at home against Arsenal. On the road this season, they have managed points in half of their games with a 3-3-6 record and 12:20 goal differential losing to Chelsea, Tottenham, Leicester, Everton, Sheffield United and Arsenal, all of which are in the Top-7 of the table, save for Arsenal. Of those, only three were by more than one goal, 0-5 at Tottenham, 0-3 at Chelsea and 0-3 at Sheffield United.

What I like the most is the recent H2H series has been all Burnley as Southampton has not won any of the last six meetings between these teams including a 3-0 home win by Burnley already this season, while Burnley drew here last year and won the season before that. I like Burnley to continue the recent trend.

#730 Michigan State Spartans (6:00 est) ESPN

Love the home-standing Spartans here since they have been strong at home covering 7 of their last 8 games and sitting at 9-3 ATS a home on the season and the home team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings between these teams. Maryland is under .500 on the road this season and they have only covered 1 of the last 6 games in this series. Look for a super motivated Michigan State team here since they are 1-3 SU/0-4 ATS in their last 4 games. Take the Spartans here.

Saturday's game is more important for Georgia State, which needs a win to keep pace with Little Rock in the Sun Belt standings. Coastal Carolina ranks near the bottom of the conference. In addition Georgia State will be out for revenge after dropping a narrow 74-72 decision at Coastal Carolina earlier this season. My model says Georgia State covers 60 percent of the time, so you're getting solid value with the Panthers.

My model says Sam Houston covers in more than two-thirds of the simulations, so you're getting strong value with the Bearkats. Sam Houston is 10-2 at home this season while Central Arkansas is just 2-12 on the road. My model says the Bearkats win by 15. Take Sam Houston.

Let's lock this in before the number makes a somewhat predictable leap Saturday. The struggling Spartans narrowly avoided disaster and a four-game losing streak when they squandered a 20-point lead at Illinois before finding the game-winner just before the buzzer. They are in serious need of a get-right game and the erratic Terrapins should make an ideal opponent. Maryland barely got by a short-handed Nebraska club in its last game and has been shaky all year on the road. This one has the makings of a Michigan State blowout.
