    Oilers vs. Kings
    Oilers-140

Ricky's 1* play on the Oilers.

Key Angle: It's important to remember that Ricky never makes a bet on any game based on just one angle. In order to make the grade, all his premium picks must meet several important criteria. He doesn't share all his secrets within his analysis, instead he chooses to reveal only the angle that he feels is the most significant. Here in this game the Kings recent trade sending their leading scorer to Vancouver is particularly significant.

    Key Trends:

    - The Kings are 24-55 in their last 79 games as an underdog.

    - The Kings are 2-6 in their last eight home games.

    - The Kings are 7-19 in their last 26 overall.

The verdict: look for visitors to jump all over the home team.

      Pistons vs. Blazers
      Blazers-4½ -109

      Portland over Detroit

Against the Central Division the Blazers bring a solid 16-9 ATS mark, while going 4-2 ATS in Sunday editions. Overall the Pistons show 21-35 ATS on the season allowing opponents to shoot 48%. Actually both clubs have surfaced in the second-half with lineup issues clearly is a maligned unit to say the least. The Lillard loss is critical, but Portland still has enough to get by the salty foe. Good Luck.

        Green Bay vs. Oakland
        Green Bay+3

I don't quite get this line, but the better team is getting points in this one. Green Bay has won four of their last five and has seven road wins already this season with some solid efforts in other losing contests. They play with a ridiculously quick pace and have the shortest offensive possession times in the country. The first meeting with Oakland was a tight one that the Phoenix won at home 73-69 in a 75 possession game. Now the Grizzlies have won three in a row, but they've also lost five home games as well. Their offense isn't very good although it's in good form right now. I just like the underdog here despite the odd line. They have a shot to win outright.

          Draw+210

The free soccer play takes place in Spain on Sunday afternoon. Take the draw at +210 in the match between Getake and Sevilla. The total is set at 2 so they are expecting a low score. I think it ends 1-1.

          Sevilla 1

          Getafe 1

            Siena vs. Fairfield
            Fairfield+4 -105

The NCAAB Comp Play for Sunday is on Fairfield plus the 3-4 points at 2:00 eastern. Fairfield has covered 13 of 16 as a home dog, including 5 straight and has won 5 of their last 56 here at home. Siena coasted at home in the first meeting and have won their last 4 at home. Things should be different here today though as Siena is a dreadful 0-8 ats a a road favorite. In fact this conference has been awful of late as a road favorite Of 8 or less going 0-16-1 to the spread. Look for Fairfield to cover. For the NCAAB Free pick. Take the Points with Fairfield. Pistons vs. Blazers
              Pistons+4½ -109

Sunday NBA Free play. My selection is on Detroit plus the points over Portland at 9:05 pm et on Sunday.

The Pistons were listless coming out of the All-Star break, suffering a blowout loss at home against the Bucks. They should smell blood here, however, as they hit the road looking to snap their five-game losing streak. Portland has now lost three games in a row and will be without Damian Lillard for an extended period. Note that Portland is a miserable 14-25 ATS against opponents that average at least 106 points per game this season. The Blazers are a mediocre 15-12 at home this season, outscoring their opponents by only 1.6 points per contest. If they couldn't get up for Zion and the Pelicans visiting on Friday night, I don't know how they get up for this non-conference matchup with the Pistons on a Sunday night in February - even with their playoff hopes hanging in the balance. Take Detroit (8*).

                Northern Iowa-10½

Play - Northern Iowa (Game 644).

Edges - Panthers: 14-0 at home this season … Salukis: 4-11-1 ATS away in this series … With NIU coming off a loss, look for them to avenge a same season loss against SIU earlier this year. We recommend a 1* play on Northern Iowa. Thank you and good luck as always.

Penn State vs Indiana Under 143

This play just missed out on our premium card. The Penn State Nittany Lions and Indiana Hoosiers face off on Sunday and in this game the value lies with the under to cash.

The Hoosiers offense has scored under 69 points in five of their last six games, and they know in this game against a good offense, they want to slow down the pace.

Look for them to really take down the shot clock, and this is going to be low scoring.

The under is 15-6 in the last 21 meetings played between the two teams.

                    Back the under.

                      Temple-2½

T.M. Selection: Temple 1* (FREE PLAY).

Temple has won three of its last four and I believe its superior defense will be the difference in the end once again. Overall Temple has averaged just 59 PPG over its last six road games, but its defense is ranked No. 45 in the country in efficiency. ECU is one of the worst offensive programs in the nation as well, ranked No. 258 in efficiency. Yes the Owls are terrible offensively, but I simply can't see the Pirates (even with Jayden Gardner on their side), mustering any sort of attack here vs. this terrific Temple defense. I'm laying the points.

                      T.M. Prediction: (75-65 Owls).

That’s three straight complimentary winners after Michigan scored the outright upset over Purdue on Saturday! For Sunday’s freebie, we’ll take a shot with Wichita State as a road underdog at Cincinnati.

For starters, this is a revenge game for the Shockers, who suffered an 80-79 home loss to Cincinnati back on Feb. 6, with the Bearcats springing the upset as a five-point underdog (more on the revenge element shortly). Three days after that loss, Wichita went to Houston and got clobbered 76-43 as a five-point pup, easily the team’s worst performance of the season (if not the last 10 seasons).

Apparently, the ass-chewing coach Greg Marshall delivered after that pathetic performance worked, as the Shockers have rebounded with three straight double-digit wins over Central Florida (75-58), Tulane (82-57) and South Florida (65-55). It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to pinpoint the reason for Wichita State’s sudden about-face: Defense. After giving up 156 points to Cincinnati and Houston, they allowed a total of 170 to UCF, Tulane and South Florida.

Speaking of UCF: The Golden Knights went into Cincinnati on Wednesday night and stunned the Bearcats 89-87 as an 11½-point underdog. It was the fourth straight non-cover for Cincinnati—all since the Wichita win, and all as a favorite. Throw in a non-cover against Houston (64-62 win as a 3-point home favorite), and the Bearcats have failed to cash in five straight as a chalk.

Lastly, this is a huge game for Wichita State, not only for seeding position for the upcoming American Conference Tournament and not only because another loss puts the Shockers (20-6) firmly on the NCAA Tournament bubble, but because they’ve dropped five straight games to Cincinnati (including three by a combined 5 points). They need to get over the Bearcats hump today, and I think they will—but even if they don’t, they’ll get inside the number, which the underdog has done in five of the last six meetings in this rivalry.

                          2* WICHITA STATE

Sunday's comp play on your marquee NBA battle from the Staples Center as I grab the points and the Boston Celtics as they go for the regular season sweep over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brad Stevens made a point of speeding things up against the older LeBron James and company in the first meeting back on January 20th as Boston ran Los Angeles off the court 139-107!

Frank Vogel will need to make his adjustment this afternoon because even though Kemba Walker is sidelined, I still feel there is a strong chance the Celtics will stick with the same winning formula from January.

Boston does come into this road game having won their last pair and are 12-2 straight up since torching the Lakers the firs time around.

The Lakers have been rolling leading up to this payback meeting, as LA has won their last 4 and are now 42-12 for the season as they lead the Western Conference standings.

Los Angeles has actually played better on the road than at home, as they are 19-7 on the home floor and just 14-11-1 against the spread in those home dates.

I see the Lakers gaining some revenge today, but the pointspread is just large enough to hold my interest on the road dog.

Play the C's plus the points.

Your Sunday free play will be to take Golden State plus the points at home against New Orleans.

Yes, you heard me correct....I said, take Golden State plus the points!

New Orleans sure looks good with their superstar Zion Williamson in the lineup, as the Pelicans came back after the All-Star Break and took down the Portland Trail Blazers up in Oregon, 128-115 to make it a 4-1 straight up and against the spread run over their last 5 games as they take to the court in San Francisco this Sunday evening.

Golden State is just 12-44 on the lost season and they come into this home game having dropped each of their last 5 contests.

You think there is a chance the Pelicans who will conclude their 3 game road trip with a stop in Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Tuesday night might take the Warriors just a little lightly tonight?

I sure do, and I will take the points out for a test drive in this spot. Golden State has covered 4 of their last 7 games on the season, and when installed as the underdog of +1 to +7 points are a not-too-terrible 12-13 against the spread.

New Orleans is going to win this game, but with the public seeing just how good Zion Williamson can be/is, the oddsmakers are going to make you pay for backing the "chic" Pels.

Take the Dubs plus the points.
