    Flyers vs. Rangers
    OVER 6½ +105

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach NHL Rotation #1 Sunday Free Pick OVER the total in New York Rangers @ 12:05 ET - As strong as Carter Hart has been in goal for the Flyers at home this season he has been equally bad when on enemy ice! Hart is 3-10-1 with a 3.88 GAA and .855 save percentage in road games this season. The Flyers are one of the hottest teams in the league and have scored at least 4 goals in 5 straight games. I expect Philadelphia to remain red hot in the offensive zone in this one. However, the Rangers were just as hot as the Flyers prior to getting dominated in a 5-2 loss at Philly on Friday. That said, I look for New York to bounce right back here on home ice as Hart's road struggles to continue. With this total sitting at 6.5 goals we just need each team to get to 3 goals and we've got a guaranteed winner as the game can end with nothing less than a 4-3 final. That said, I have no hesitation in betting this one and expecting to see at least 7 goals scored. Free Pick OVER the total in New York Rangers

DC Defenders vs. Tampa Bay Vipers
      DC Defenders-135

This is a 1* free play on the DC Defenders.

This team came into last week's game against LA with a 2-0 record, and they looked like they might be the team to beat. They were exposed by a high flying LA Wildcats offense in a 39-9 loss. The game got out of hand partially because Cardale Jones threw four picks. It was a terrible game for a Jones, but based on his performance in the first two weeks, you have to like his chances of taking advantage of the Vipers defense that hasn't stopped anybody. The Vipers offense has failed to impress, but they have looked better when Quinten Flowers has been under center. He's apparently taking a leave of absence, leaving the Vipers in rough shape. Their running game has looked decent, but DC ranks first in the XFL in run defense. This looks like a get right game for the visitors.

      Take DC.

        Colorado vs. Stanford
        Stanford-1

        (840) Stanford over Colorado

We’ll accept the current spread, but would prefer the money line. Our choice Stanford (21-8) comes in to this encounter with Colorado out on the left coast. Colorado who is 21-8 has really been flagged their last two games SU. Against the Golden Bears in the last encounter the offense sputtered with inefficiencies. The Cardinal has put together a solid record, however they too flash with inconsistencies. Recently they have won last three SU & ATS. Critical is the defense which has jammed opponents to 60 points per game at home this season. If guard Willis does not play for the Buffs, feel the Cardinal has a solid edge later today. Colorado is 14-40 ATS on the road, and despite their spread success against Stanford, we’ll BACK the Cardinal to cash. Good Luck.

Sunday comp play on Charlotte as the home underdog against Milwaukee.

You read that correctly....Charlotte plus the points at home against the best team in the league the Milwaukee Bucks who are in a prime spot to win this game, but fail the road impost.

Milwaukee's last pair of games have come against playoff teams in Toronto and Oklahoma City and their next 3 games are also against playoff-bound teams in Miami on the road tomorrow night, Indiana and the Los Angeles Lakers. Can you say "flat spot" today against the moribund Hornets???

Charlotte just pulled off a stunned on Friday night when they went into Toronto as the double-digit road dog and won the game outright! The Hornets have actually won their last pair and 5 of their last 7 both straight up and against the spread.

The Bucks have won the past 4 series meetings, but are just 2-2 against the spread in the 4 wins, as they failed to cover their last visit to Charlotte at the end of January.

I'm not expecting an outright Charlotte upset win today, but the Bucks likely easing their foot off the gas pedal in this spot today, I can see the Hornets hanging inside the roomy home impost.

Take the Hornets plus the points.

          1* CHARLOTTE

Of course the price on the 76ers-Clippers game is a bit inflated, but no one in their right mind would consider backing the atrocious-on-the-road Philadelphia 76ers, especially without the services of either Ben Simmons or Joel Embiid!

Philadelphia did win and cover on Friday night at home over the New York Knicks, as the Sixers home mark of 28-2 is a thing of beauty, but on the road it is a different story! Philly is a woeful 9-21 straight up on the road this season and their 7-21-2 road mark against the spread is even worse.

The L.A. Clippers are fresh off their drilling of the Denver Nuggets at Staples Center on Friday, as the Clip Ship improved to 24-6 on their home court and 18-12 against the spread in those home games.

Then there is the matter of this being a little bit of revenge for the Clippers who with their February 11th loss at Philadelphia marked the 5th straight time the Sixers have handed the Clippers a loss!

With their road mark rotten, and their top 2 players watching from the bench, expect the Clippers to end the series skid at 5 and expect it to be a rather lopsided final score in favor of Los Angeles as well.

            Lay it with the Clippers.

              STEPHEN DeANGELO

For Sunday’s freebie, we’ll head back to the NBA—where I’ve hit my last two comp plays—and lay the big points with the Clippers against visiting Philadelphia.

The 76ers arrive in LA having lost seven consecutive games both SU and ATS, each of them being double-digit defeats. The latest? Wednesday’s 108-94 loss at the lowly Cavaliers as a 7½-point road favorite. We’re not only talking about seven straight double-digit losses on the highway, we’re talking seven straight losses by an average of 17.1 points!

Now for the kicker: Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons—inarguably Philly’s top two players—played in six of those defeats, with Simmons sitting out the Cleveland game with a back injury. Well, now, both Embiid and Simmons are on the shelf injured. You tell me how the 76ers are going to compete with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the Clippers without their two big guns!

As it is, Los Angeles appears to finally be kicking things into gear, following a 1-4 slump with three straight blowout victories and easy covers over the Grizzlies (124-97 as an 11½-point home favorite), Suns (102-92 as a 7½-point road chalk) and Nuggets (132-103 as a 7-point favorite). Including those three victories, the Clippers finished February with six victories, five of which were one-sided laughers: 12-point win over the Timberwolves, 17-point win over the Heat, 41-point win over the Cavaliers (on the road), 27-point win over the Grizzlies, 10-point win over the Suns, 29-point win over the Nuggets. Also, six of LA’s last seven home wins doing back to Jan. 14 were all by double digits.

True, the 76ers handled the Clippers in Philly back on Feb. 11, winning 110-103 as a one-point home favorite, a game in which both Leonard and George played. But Simmons and Embiid also played, and they each scored 26 points. Who’s picking up that 52-point slack for the Sixers in this one?

Finally, as I’m sure you’re aware, Philly’s seven-game road losing skid isn’t just an isolated “bad run”; the Sixers have been horrendous on the road all season, going 9-21 SU and 7-21-2 ATS. So, yeah, this is a big number, but with no Simmons and no Embiid and the Clippers in a groove and playing with revenge, this figures to get really ugly, really quickly.

Event: (835) Northwestern at (836) Nebraska
                Sport/League: CBB
                Date/Time: March 1, 2020 4PM EST
                Play: Northwestern 3.0 (-110)

Bottom of the barrel Big 10 matchup. Very nice little longterm angle here. When both teams are on extended losing streaks, seven or more each, the dog is the take. I also happen to think that while neither team is any good, the Wildcats are a little better than the Cornhuskers. Last place avoidance on the line and I'll go with Northwestern to pull out the win.
