Race Summary	Most of the field reunites from last week and we’re looking for a couple price plays to make the gimmick wagers pay off. Sports Vision gets the nod after he stayed in while the outer flow developed and was blocked with run through the stretch. Also use Dalton Did It because he met similar fate while tracking a soft pace. Play a 3-4-5-8 exacta box.

#1 ROYAL RENEGADE	Plays to steady beat, class should tell with favorable starting spot.
#9 CHEDDAR BAY	Loomed boldly while second over to repeat winner but faded.

The Equibase speed fig of 83 from his last contest looks very good in here. MODERN TALE - Clearly will improve with switch in blinkers (going on) today. Looks quite good to be on the front end at the first call.

I think KISS THRU FIRE is a quite good choice. Has to be given consideration versus this group of horses in this race displaying very good figures recently and an average speed fig of 82 under similar conditions. Garnered a sound speed figure in the last race. Can run another good one in this race. Seems to have a decent class edge based on the latest company kept. TERRA FIRE - Odell has a strong 27 percent win rate with entries running at this distance and surface. Will most likely come out strong - I have liked the way this filly has moved swiftly to the front end recently. JR PRISSYS BLOOD - Going in a short race gives this filly a solid shot.

Likes to land in the money though. This gelding recorded a speed rating in his last event which probably isn't good enough in today's race. CORT'N ASONG - Gelding has shown some early speed. This shorter distance should be better for him. A wise man taught me to invest in the lone speed horse. Take a look at this horse. Last raced at Laurel carrying 7 pounds more. The lower weight assigned in this field should serve him well. McMahon seems to have this gelding primed for a big effort. His workout pattern is tremendous. JACK STRAIGHT - This horse is a hot commodity. Claimed in his last two races. Have to give this gelding a fair chance. Ran a solid race last out within the last month or so. The 95 latest race speed rating looks sound in black and white.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 LION LORD (ML=9/5), #6 MY EMINENCE (ML=5/1), #4 LORD SIMBA (ML=6/1),

LION LORD - The chalk horse is vulnerable here with the lack of drills. MY EMINENCE - I'd like to see more preferred recent showings with M/L odds of 5/1. LORD SIMBA - 93/87/70, are the deteriorating Equibase speed figs for this racer. In the last race this questionable contender finished sixth. Doesn't look promising for his chances this time around. Finished sixth in his most recent performance with a most unsatisfactory speed fig. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this group.
