Analysis:

People will immediately point to the Tar Heels finally finding an offense, and in part that's true. But, they've been playing fast paced teams or at home for the most part. And of course Spongebob will be all over North Carolina at such a short number which gives me pause. For starters UNC is looking to win the Tournament, and knowing that they will have to play a bunch of consecutive games to do that, meaning IF they get a lead they could rest people. Virginia Tech plays slow and they know the ONLY chance they have is to play even slower.* They're small, which is why I can't take them.* They rely on three's and their guards are much smaller than UNC's. They're also very young. They haven't* played a game that's seen this many points since* a game at* Duke* three weeks ago. They've only played five ACC games that did, and three of those wee overtime games. One thing they DO do is protect the ball, which is huge because turnovers will create quick points, especially with a team that will run as UNC does. They typically don't get to the FT line,* and when UNC does they're a below average shooting team. I suspect the game starts a… bit sluggish, and there just won't be time to catch up. So, hope UNC DOES blow them out because that will eliminate the fouls late. That's all I got.
