Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz face the Nuggets on Sunday in Game 4 of their Western Conference series. The SuperBook opened Utah 3-point favorites and moved to -3.5.

NBA betting odds are up for the Sunday playoff feast of four conference quarterfinal Game 4s. The Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz get the prime-time spotlight, and the defending champion Toronto Raptors can advance to the East semis with a win over the Brooklyn Nets.

The SuperBook at Westgate provided insights on NBA opening lines and early line movement, sharp money and public betting for Sunday’s matchups.

NBA line movement

After taking Games 2 and 3, sixth-seeded Utah has a 2-1 series lead on the third-seeded Nuggets. SuperBook oddsmakers have certainly seen enough, with the Jazz opening as 3-point favorites and moving to 3.5 for the 9 p.m. ET Game 4.

In the 6:30 p.m. ET tipoff, the second-seeded Raptors go for a sweep of the seventh-seeded Nets. The SuperBook opened Toronto a 13-point favorite, and the line was stable through Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks meet at 3:30 p.m. ET, and a sprained ankle has Luka Doncic’s availability a game-time decision for the Mavs. The Clippers opened -8.5 at The SuperBook, dipped to -5.5 Saturday night, then quickly rebounded to -7.5.

Eric Osterman, manager and oddsmaker at The SuperBook, said the Clippers-Mavs and Raptors-Nets matchups were getting some early interest.

“We’re getting some parlay money on the Clippers early. No sharp play yet. We have had some takers on the Mavericks moneyline, but it hasn't been anything big,” Osterman said. “And so far, it's been almost all Raptors action on the spread and the moneyline. Some very small tickets on the Nets moneyline, but that's it on them.”

Seattle Sounders at Portland Timbers 8/23/20 - MLS (SOCCER)

The Portland Timbers managed to win the MLS IS BACK tournament and will now meet the Seattle Sounders in a Cascadia Derby for the regular season. Seattle were not very good in the tournament and only made it to the knockout round.

Portland (3-1-1) are coming off a great performance in the MLS IS BACK tournament final and managed to take home this unusual trophy. They beat Orlando City by 1-2 in the final but didn’t have a very easy job. Even so, they have only kept a single clean sheet in nine matches so far in the season, but also scored in eight. Portland are now sitting at the 3rd spot of the Western Conference with 10 points, five behind Kansas and Minnesota who have played one more match.

Seattle (2-1-2) did not have a very pretty tournament in Florida, but did make it to the knock-out round. After a goal-less draw against San Jose and a 1-2 loss against Chicago, the Sounders beat Vancouver by 0-3 to advance as 2nd in the group. But they paired with LAFC in the next round, who destroyed them by 4-1 to cut their run short. Those two losses were their only losses in eight matches in all competitions so far in the season, but they have won just twice in that span (2-2-4).

The two teams met on three occasions last season, twice in Seattle, and the visitor won in each of the three matches. And all three wins came by the same 2-1 exact score. There were goals from both sides in nine of the last 11 matches between the two regardless of venue. Portland are leading in the last ten matches as hosts (5-3-2) but kept just a single clean sheet. I’ll go with the Over 2.75 Goals here.

PSG vs. Bayern Munich 8/23/20 - UEFA Champions League Soccer

Bayern Munich and PSG have made the final of the 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League in Lisbon Portugal.

PSG have looked in great form with the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria forming a dangerous attacking trio. Since the restart of the Champions League, PSG beat Atalanta in the quarterfinals and RB Leipzig in the semifinals. The win against RB Leipzig was comfortable for PSG as the French team won the match 3-0. Angel Di Maria looked in outstanding touch as the Argentine scored a goal and also provided an assist. During the win, PSG maintained close to 60% of the possession and had 9 shots on target. This is expected to be a much tougher match for PSG but the team will be optimistic considering their recent form.

On the other side of the coin, Bayern Munich have been in emphatic form since the restart of the season. Bayern Munich comfortably secured the Bundesliga title before showing their skills in the Champions League. Bayern Munich defeated FC Barcelona 8-2 in the quarterfinals and followed that by defeating Lyon 3-0 in the semifinals. Serge Gnabry was the star performer for Bayern Munich during the semifinal as the striker scored twice. Bayern Munich have been in exceptional form and the team is filled with confidence as they enter this match. This is expected to be the toughest match of the tournament for Bayern Munich.

The last time that PSG and Bayern Munich played each other was in the 2017 Champions League. The score of that match will make little impact in this analysis since the dynamics of both teams is hugely different.

Free Soccer Pick: PSG

This is expected to be an outstanding match as PSG and Bayern Munich are the two elite teams in European football. With that in mind, I am going to pick PSG to win this match. PSG have been very impressive and I see them exposing the defensive woes that Bayern Munich have hidden against weaker sides. With the likes of Neymar and Mbappe playing for PSG, I see the Parisian side being too good.
