A NEW ANGEL - This mare is in exceptional physical condition right now. Ran first last time out and comes back soon. This equine has the pace, and no one may be able to keep up with her. This jockey/conditioner duo has been producing a very beneficial ROI, right at +55. Everybody's got their favorite tracks, but if you ask this horse, I think her answer would be Thistledown. I like the piece of information that this mare's last figure, 79, is tops in this group. ARROWSPHERE - Was in a $12,500 Claiming race at Thistledown last race out. That race had a class figure of 84 and she is moving down right here. A certain solid contender. SKY VISION - Meyers drops her down to this class. You don't need too much more information to think this horse has a good chance at this level.

SASSY ANGEL - Not likely for this thoroughbred to make an impact with no recent success in a sprint race. SPRING CITY GAL - No picnic to wager on this questionable contender this time. Make her show you something in a short distance race before you wager on her in a race of 6 furlongs. This mare recorded a speed fig in her last event which probably isn't good enough in today's race. PREFER DIAMONDS - Won't be easy for this horse to beat this group off of that last fig. Doubtful to improve enough to run a figure anywhere near today's Equibase class figure, so put her on the possibly overvalued equines list.

My choice for this race is DEGAS. He ought to be carefully examined given the formidable speed figures. Earned a sound Equibase Speed Figure in the last race. Can run another good one in this contest. Is hard not to consider given the company run in lately. NEXTSTOP POKIPC - His 61 average has this gelding with among the strongest Equibase Speed Figures for this event. Always good to invest in a handler with this kind of decent win percentage - 23 percent - at this distance & surface. HEART HERO - Recorded a reliable speed rating in the last race. Can run another good one in this affair. At the top in earnings per start at the distance/surface in this bunch.

SHEMAKESMEHAPPY - No needing to look any further. This steed has my cash. Way too much pace. This horse has recorded the best recent turf speed fig at the dist/surf. TROLLEY RIDE - All systems look good for this mare. Last prep, 2nd fastest of the day, shows she's fit and ready. Was in a $50,000 Optional Claiming race at Delaware Park last time around the track. That affair had a class figure of 99 and she is moving down today. A certain solid contender. The morning line odds on this mare are higher than those of the other entrant from the shedrow of handler Houghton. Often the longer-priced part of a 'split' entry wins. The mount with the top average class figure in turf events is usually a solid play. This pony fits the bill. WILDCAT CARTRIDGE - I definitely see favorable signs for this steed right here.

MOON CHANT - This horse likes to finish in the money, but doesn't usually get the job done. Don't put in the top spot. She probably can't repeat that last stretch effort and win against this field. PROMISED STORM - Substandard speed rating last out at Parx Racing at 6 1/2 furlongs. Don't think this less than sharp equine will improve too much in today's event.
