Finger Lakes - Race #1

#5 Smart Broad	Class riser was all-out to beat N2L foes last time but meets a meek group for this N3L level, should offer plenty of value, and won't have to improve much to win; call right back.
#1 Tax Me Naught	Tactical miss was just 3rd at the level, which makes her a player here, but a big underlay at this 8-5 ML price, especially since both runs this year weren't much; trying to beat.
#2 Im Gonna Win	Deep closer beat the 1 last time, but her running style is tough to trust, and the pace shouldn't be as hot today, which says she may run out of room late; using underneath only.
Race Summary	That 6-1 ML on the pick seems like plenty of value, as her win last time was as fast as the two favorites, and at least she comes in off a win too, so play her in all the slots, and especially to kick off the early Pk4 as well, as she could get overlooked, which means a win by the third-choice would knock plenty of tickets out right off the bat.

Finger Lakes - Race #5

#7 Miss Jimmy	Stalker was in too tough at the Spa but is 11-6-4-0 here, catches a group with a ton of speed, and will be a square price too; mows them all down late.
#1 Victorias Fire	ML favorite and speed of the speed aired over the pick in her last here, but there's a ton of pressure to her outside, and she'll get overbet; may get fried.
#6 A Lovely Rose	Router is using this as a prep, as this is her first start of the year, but she's run well sprinting before, and with a hot pace, she'll pass some; exotics appeal.
Race Summary	Pace makes the race and there is a ton here, and that should really help the 7, while potentially hurting the 1, so play her aggressively in all the slots, and especially in the Pk5, and to kick off the late Pk4 as well, as she's getting all the best of it here, yet will be a very playable price at the windows.

Finger Lakes - Race #8

#4 Tommy the Torch	Price player closed to be a good 4th on debut, should only improve off that experience builder, and catches a modest group there for the taking; look out.
#7 Dawn's Early Light	ML favorite will be bet hard off the NYRA form and figures, but going from Gargan (28%) to Breed (6%) is a very negative trainer change; second-best.
#1 Gatto Marrone	Capable sort dueled and tired when 3rd in his local bow, and a repeat makes him a player, but this trip from the rail won't be easy on him; tread lightly here.
Race Summary	That 8-1 ML on the pick seems very juicy, as his debut was as fast as anyone here, he should be tighter off it, and he'll be running on at the end too, not to mention he has a ton of upside, so play him in all the slots, and especially to end the Pk5, and late Pk4 as well, as he could fall through the wagering cracks, which means a win would add plenty of value to the end of both sequences.

Mountaineer - Race #1

#10 Pinkie Pink	Only career turf try produced a really nice runner-up finish locally, and the surface switch gives her some room to move forward here.
#7 My Sweet Paynter	Tough to love the 23-start maiden, but she turned in a couple of improved performances in recent starts and may be able to land a piece of this.
#8 My Claw	Faded late off the long layoff last time out, and his only turf try was't all bad when going long in California. Underlay?
Race Summary	Pinkie Pink might have some room to move forward on the switch back to the turf, and this is not a very deep bunch for the level, giving him a real claim on the top spot.

Mountaineer - Race #2

#4 Mistie Royale	Reliable type doesn't usually get bet much, but she's a good fit with this kind and can probably improve off the most recent run.
#3 Tanda's Joy	Gets back to the turf after a couple of main track races, and she'll also cut the tag in half this time around. The one to beat.
#1 Vested Venture	Pace will try to have a go for it from the fence, and he has run well in his two career turf races. Best stuff would do.
Race Summary	Mistie Royale should get a midpack run of things tonight, and he form to kick off her 11yo campaign stacks up nicely with what it'd take to win here.

Mountaineer - Race #8

#4 Thorpe d'Oro	Has landed pieces with similar in recent starts, and he has some versatility to keep him in a good spot out of the gate while tracking the speed.
#5 Gold Shark	Reliable type just handled similar over the local footing and should hit pretty hard right back. The price won't be much, and he rarely backs up big efforts.
#2 Silent Tiger	Will likely get a good tracking trip with these, and he held his own with starter company last time out. Price player for a piece?
Race Summary	Thorpe d'Oro would be plenty attractive at something like the 8/1 ML price, and I'll try to get him in the frame with Gold Shark, who figures tough after scoring with similar last out.

Race Summary	Ideal Bubby seeks a repeat of her win at this level last week. She tracked the pace in third, angled off the rail on the turn and blew past the favorite en route to an easy victory. Play 4-3 and 4-7 exactas.

Woodbine-Mohawk Park - Race #1

#3 COME ON SUN	Been outrunning her odds of late, now lands in favorite’s role.
#1 CELIA BAYAMA	Versatility showed during recent 5/2-1-2 streak, draws rail.
#6 STONEBRIDGE CRUSH	Useful qualifier for debut for 19-percent barn.
Race Summary	Come On Sun won from posts 7 and 8 before she followed the move of the winning favorite and just missed at 57-1 odds two starts ago. She merits top billing with a favorable post switch.

Hoosier Park - Race #12

#6 MOCHA SWIRL	Was headed to victory, only to go off stride.
#3 WOODSIDE EMILEAH	Second in split race that timed 1-4/5 seconds faster.
#5 GUCCIO’S LADY	Stayed flat and ran best race with Wrenn in bike.
Race Summary	Mocha Swirl is a must play at anywhere near her 20-1 morning line. She had the leader measured and was on her way to victory but went off stride in deep stretch. Play a 6 with 3,5 with ALL trifecta.

#5 Dont Ask Kinmon	Consistently made up ground in sprints and should be able to respond as he goes around two turns; didn't fire in his only distance try, which came last year. Looks like he rounding back into form.
#6 Nates Heartthrob	Had a gate-o-wire score three back and has twice been on the board vs. winners; a threat to last in this one.
#7 Redskiesatnight	Moved strongly midstretch and then hung late in his last one; this is only his third start and he a good chance to improve.
Race Summary	Dont Ask Kinmon acts like a horse ready to succeed going long; has closed well in sprints and can be a late threat running two turns.

Indiana Grand - Race #5

#2 New Boss	Quickly overcame a bad start, took over in the stretch and drew clear in her only race; can win right back for Calhoun.
#3 Scat's Choice	Shipped to Del Mar for the G2 Sorrento and finished fourth in the six-horse field; broke her maiden at Belterra two back and can be competitive here.
#8 Coach	Ran on for an easy win over this strip in her only career attempt and Cox is hitting at a 27-percent clip at Indiana Grand.
Race Summary	New Boss was sharp at Lone Star and can battle for every jump of this one; looks talented enough to ward off her rivals.

Indiana Grand - Race #9

#1 Bankruptonthebeach	Never fired last time on the Gulfstream turf as she tried the Martha Washington Stakes; was third in the Azalea two races back and looks capable of getting the mile at this level.
#4 Spartanka	Stablemate of top choice won at Gulfstream three races back and then was outrun in stakes here and Ellis; can improve on the class drop.
#7 Spun Eazy	Was a closing second at this level two back over this course and can benefit the most if the pace is quick.
Race Summary	Bankruptonthebeach moved to the Maker barn two races back and the daughter of Temple City should be able to be a strong player going long on the turf at this level.

DOUGIE - This colt was sharp enough to post a 'top two' workout recently. I think he's ready for today's event. I like when a thoroughbred wins after shipping in from elsewhere. It shows that they really like the track here. I'll take this colt to win again. Have to give this colt a fair chance. Ran a good race last time around the track within the last month. ACERE - Rivera is back for another contest today after getting on board this horse for the first time on Aug 24th and ought to know the ropes to this one a little better. I like to wager on this handicapping angle, a thoroughbred coming back off a strong contest within the last thirty days. LAWYER ROY - Has discovered a good spot this time.
