Finger Lakes - Race #2

#2 Passion Police	Stiff class dropper was not only in way too tough last time but was going long too, and the run two-back was against eons better as well, so at this reduced level, and a nice price too, she make wake up; upset special.
#4 Grassmiss	The gal to beat looked good wiring in her return and a repeat will make her tough right back, but this is a better group, and there's quality speed to her inside as well, so she may not have an easy time up front; second-best.
#3 I'm a Good Looker	Aforementioned quality speed drops and cuts back after a decent 3rd last time, and the win two-back makes her a big threat here, but the fact she's drawn inside the chalk won't make this an easy trip; may come unglued late.
Race Summary	The price, drop in class, and race flow may all work for the 2, while potentially hurting the two favorites as well, so give her a look in all the slots, and especially in the early Pk4 as well, as budget players might not be able to get to her, which means a win in the 6-1 range would add plenty of value to the sequence.

Finger Lakes - Race #4

#3 Gold Cross	Class riser blasted N4L foes last time, while stretching out too, and while this is a solid group of allowance foes, there's also no one to fear here, and he should be a decent price too; look out.
#5 Paddy All Day	Underlay has a stalking gear that will come in handy in a race with some speed, and her last two make him a threat, but they also don't overwhelm, and he'll be overbet as well; trying to beat.
#1 Desert Lights	ML favorite and deep closer was a distant 3rd at the level last time, and a repeat wouldn't give her any edge here, so sure, he's a player, but at 9-5 you have to look elsewhere; not seeing it.
Race Summary	That 4-1 ML seems like plenty of value and well worth the risk-reward on the 3, who does rise in class but catches a group that is definitely there for the taking, so play him to win and place, while getting some added value by using him to end the early Pk4, and kick off the Pk5 as well, since he ran huge last time, and won't have to run much faster, if at all, to double up here.

Finger Lakes - Race #6

#6 J Fich	Intriguing sort has run decent in two sprints, is bred for the added ground/turn he gets, will be a square price too, and should be right on what looks like a modest pace; upset special.
#1 Themsfightinwords	The chalk has been 2nd in his last two, the last time at this trip, and this post works too, but at 2-1, with form that doesn't overwhelm, you're allowed to try to beat him; siding against.
#8 Lightning Rob	Underlay was well behind the 1 last time off the Clarke claim, for a barn that is really struggling at the meet (2-for-39), so from a bad post he's tough to endorse; using underneath only.
Race Summary	The 6 looks primed for a breakthrough after two sprint tighteners to begin his career, and if it's the 1 he's got to beat then he's in with a chance, so give him a look in all the slots, and especially the Pk5, and late Pk4 as well, since a win would spice up both sequences, and he's got plenty of upside and a pedigree that says he can pull it off.

Mountaineer - Race #1

#10 Sandy Lane Kitten	Versatile type has been in with better groups at Penn and Delaware in recent starts, and his baseline recent efforts would almost surely be too good for these.
#3 Shy Guy	He might be a little bit better on the main track, but the recent form stacks up pretty well, and he owns a couple of decent turf tries. The main danger.
#6 Stormcoast	Has a right to wake up while moving back in with the local company after the unsuccessful trip to Kentucky. His local record has been solid and he might produce something better here.
Race Summary	Sandy Lane Kitten should be a handful with these with some pace to put to use from the outside and recent company lines that are tougher than what he's going to find here.

Mountaineer - Race #2

#9 Palladium	Form looks a bit spottier than it really is with some dull dirt runs sprinkled in, but the turf form is pretty solid and would stack up favorably against these at something like the 8/1 ML price.
#7 Autograph	Overall turf form is pretty tough, and his recent runs over the local footing stamp his as a contender right back. Tactical type can do.
#4 Grand Nenuco	Brings hit or miss form from Gulfstream with him to this local debut, and the softer spot may be enough to get him over the top.
Race Summary	Palladium gets the call at what may be a square price on the step out of conditioned turf company, and he gets a chance with a better group here.

Mountaineer - Race #7

#7 S S Paddy	He wanted nothing to do with going long last time out, but he has run into a couple of pretty tough winners along the way while landing distant underneath pieces. The 10/1 price would be appealing.
#9 Johnny Tiznow	Will be a short price in the local debut after flashing pace at Indiana Grand, but the local company may be right up his alley. Beat him to score.
#8 California Onyx	Debuter doesn't meet the deepest group, and he brings a bullet work with him to this first trip to post. Chance for a piece.
Race Summary	S S Paddy will need his best to handle Johnny Tiznow, but the cutback may be enough to give him a fighting chance.

DOUBLETURBO - I can't pass on this gelding given one of the strongest jockey and trainer combos on the grounds. When Berndt uses Hernandez there's a good chance for an increase in income.
