After a Game One that sailed way Over the posted total between the Nuggets and the Lakers, Game Two easily held Under the total.
Where will Game Three here on Tuesday night land?
I will say this one holds just Under the total as well.
Los Angeles happens to be on a 5-2 Under run this postseason with 4 of their last 5 playoff games holding Under the total.
Denver's Under run is a little more pronounced as the Nuggets are on a 7-1-2 Under run this postseason over their last 10 games played.
I am well aware that in Game One the Lakers were able to get to 126 points, but with LA now up 2-0 in this series thanks to Anthony Davis' three-pointer at the buzzer on Sunday, the Nuggets had better not let the Lakers reach a total that is that high again or they will find themselves in a 3-0 hole.
Solid defense tonight from both keeps this one Under the total.
For Tuesday comp play, give me the points and the Nuggets as they look to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole to the Lakers.
Denver rebounded nicely after getting smoked by double-digits in this opening game of this series as they had Game 2 right in their clutches before Anthony Davis nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Lakers the 105-103 regulation win - but NO cover!
The Nuggets could come out tonight and let that last second loss be their undoing, or they could come out tonight and once again take it to the Lakers the way they did on Sunday when they nearly evened the series straight up.
My guess is we are going to get the Denver team that wants to keep this season alive and will give it all they have tonight knowing full well a loss here and they are pretty much - season over!
The Nuggets have covered 4 of their last 5 this postseason in the underdog role.
Expect Jokic to continue playing at the highest of levels and expect the whole Denver team to continue to kick and claw as they look for their first series win.
They may not win it outright, but it will be a helluva fight.
Tuesday night stick with the tried-and-true and that is the Yankees and the Blue Jays to play another Over.
Just last week at Yankee Stadium these teams played Over the total in each of their 3 games, as they combined for 26, 15 and 17 runs!
Nothing different last night in the series opener from Buffalo, as the teams combined for 16 more runs and another Over.
For the Yankees they have landed Over in 6 of their last 7 games, while Toronto enters with Overs played in 6 of their last 9 contests.
Don't worry that Gerrit Cole is working the mound for New York. True, he held the Jays to just one run in 7 innings last week in the Bronx, but that game ended up a 13-2 final because the Yankees bombed tonight's Toronto starter Tanner Roark.
Roark has allowed 8 runs in his 8 innings of work versus the Yankees this year and stands at 1-2 with an ERA approaching 6 for his career against New York.
Have to stay with the Over again tonight in Buffalo in this one.
