Joe Burrow, improving each week, has strung together three straight 300-plus-yard gems. Hence, this line seems excessive, even against the Ravens. Their invincibility was shattered with a resounding loss to Kansas City. A two-touchdown win on Sunday over downtrodden Washington, which has swapped out quarterbacks, does not justify the 13.

Granted, Dallas is rock-bottom, if not below, on defense, but not even Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett going against his former team will resuscitate the unit. The Cowboys should relish finally playing a non-shootout game and lean heavily on RB Ezekiel Elliott. They must score in the high 30s for an Over to score. Take the Under.

Washington has benched Dwayne Haskins in favor of Kyle Allen, who has starter’s experience in Carolina, but it’s a big ask for a rusty player to cope with DT Aaron Donald and cohorts. That Ron Rivera continues to coach through cancer treatments is admirable but not ideal for the team.

That, of course, is "as long as there are no more positive tests with Tennessee." The Titans have so far proven incapable of that. We certainly wouldn't consider it a given that the game happens.

Why will the total go OVER in Jaguars at Texans?

Both Houston and Jacksonville have struggled to limit opposing passing games through four weeks. Jacksonville has allowed a 30th-ranked 8.3 yards per pass attempt while Houston sits 21st on the list with 7.4 yards per pass attempt allowed. This is a bad sign for under bettors Sunday, as the Jags and Texans both rate top five in the NFL in pass rate, with over 64 percent of their plays ending in a pass.

Not only do these teams pass frequently, but they do so effectively. Watson and the Texans have produced 7.9 yards per pass attempt (9th-best) while facing Kansas City, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore, who all rank top 11 in yards per pass attempt defensively. Jacksonville has been less impressive but still effective, sitting around league average at 7.1 yards per pass attempt on the season.
