| Breeder’s Cup Selections listed below write up 4% (376) KANSAS ST (+12.5) I’m looking to fade Oklahoma St here who has to still be reeling from losing a barn burner in OT. I have always liked fading a favorite who is coming off an OT loss. Too often these teams come out flat off of the gut wrenching loss. Add in the fact that Kansas St should be in an angry mood after getting blown out at WVU last week. Kansas St. can be a scrappy Home Dog and I expect this one to be much tighter than people think. Oklahoma St 34-30. TAKE KANSAS ST as my 4% COLLEGE UNDERDOG GAME OF THE WEEK. Comes in to race peaking at the right time and Chad Brown is one of the best Turf Trainers in the country. Longshot Special. #3 Imprimis (4-1) - On paper the horse to beat and that’s hard to argue with based on two starts this year. Will be on my ticket but in a wide open race I prefer a bigger price than what this one will bring. #12 Got Stormy (7-2) - Since they cut her back in distance she is 2 for 2. But the class of this field is much better than she faced in those races and thus I’m putting her 3rd. Selections 4-3-12-6 Suggested Wagers #10 - $10 Win-Place-Show +$30 $2 Exacta Box 4-3-12-6 = $24 $1 Trifecta 4-3-12 /4-3-12-6 /4-3-12-6-7-8 = $36 Saturday - Keeneland Race 10 - Breeder’s Cup Distaff #10 Monomoy Girl (8-5) - Has won 12 of 14 starts and was 2nd in the other 2 starts. After missing all of last year has come back better than ever winning 3 of 3 and is the fresher horse with just 3 starts. #5 Swiss Skydiver (2-1) - She has danced all the dances but has this been too much of a grueling campaign for the 3 year old filly. As much as I like her making her 10th start of the season against a fresher horse with the back class is the difference. #3 Dunbar Road (12-1) - Out of the Chad Brown barn has been racing well in her return but is step below the top 2. Selections 10-5-3-2 Suggested Wagers #10 - $20 Win-Place-Show +$60 $2 Exacta Box 10-5-3-2 = $24 $1 Trifecta 10-5-3 /10-5-3-2 /10-5-3-2-8-9 = $36 Saturday - Race 11 - Breeder’s Cup Turf #3 Tarnawa (6-1) - The Ireland invader takes on the boys here and adds Lasix. She is 3 for 3 this year and should be better here in the US with Lasix. #2 Magical (5-2) - Is the Top Money Maker banking over 5 million in earnings and is 5 for 5 in the money this year. Will be the favorite and must be used on Ticket. #9 Channel Maker (5-1) - Should be a nice price and comes in here off back to back wins. Speed figures improving in each of last 3 starts. Bill Mott Trains and has always been one of the best on the Turf. Selections 3-2-9-7 Suggested Wagers #3 - $10 Win-Place-Show +$30 $2 Exacta Box 3-2-9-7 = $24 $1 Trifecta 3-2-9/3-2–9-7/3-2-9-7-1-10 = $60 Saturday - Race 12 - Breeder’s Cup Classic #8 Improbable (5-2) - Has gotten better in every start this year. In his last start he blew away his stable Maximum Security in the Awesome Again Stakes. His running style will let him sit off the pace from what should be a honest pace upfront from the other two Baffert horses and be the one who makes the move on the leaders. This is the horse to beat in here. #4 Tom’s D’Etat (6-1) - Stumbled badly out of the gate costing him any chance of winning the Whitney. He did come on to be 3rd in the 5 horse field but the two horses he passed were going nowhere. Tom had a legit excuse for getting beat but even with a clean break at the start he was’t passing Improbable. #2 Tiz the Law (3-1) - Is the somewhat forgotten horse in this field even though he has just one loss on the season which was a 2nd in the Kentucky Derby. In that race Manny Franco had him 3-4 wide the entire race while Authentic was able to get the lead and cross over to the rail and was left alone on the lead to set a modest pace.
