Last game for this NBA Monday and I am looking for Golden State and the Los Angeles Lakers to hold Under the total.
Golden State has been a most definite Unders lovers dream through their first dozen games this new NBA season, as Steve Kerr's team has held Under the total in each of their last 5 contests and in 8 of their 12 overall for the year.
They will face a Los Angeles team that has also trended Under for the new year as Frank Vogel's team is 10-4 Under for their 14 games played and have held low in 3 of their last 4.
This will be the first meeting of the season between these Western Conference rivals, as 4 of the last 5 played between the teams have held Under the total and 6 of the last 8 overall have also held Under the posted price.
With both the season numbers and the series numbers trending towards the Under, no sense in playing against them.
Monday night go ahead and lay the wood with the L.A. Lakers at home as they take on the Golden State Warriors.
Los Angeles is currently riding a 5 game winning streak - with covers in each of their last 4 wins - to improve to 11-3 on the year. After tonight's game, the Lakers will head out on the road for the next 7 games, so you kind of get the feeling that Los Angeles would like to board that airplane east on the right foot.
Golden State has done well to split their 12 games so far this season, as this is most definitely a team that is working on a rebuild under Steve Kerr. The Warriors head into this game off straight up and against the spread losses in their last pair though and in 3 of their last 5 overall.
The Warriors have also failed the number in 4 of their last 5 on the road. This is a Golden State team that is allowing 115.3 points per game on the year, while Los Angeles is only giving up 104.4 per game.
This is the first time this year these teams will face one another. Last season L.A. took all 3 meetings and they were able to cover in 2 of the 3 victories.
Nothing changes tonight. Take the Lakers to roll big tonight.

NCAA-B | Florida State vs Louisville
Play on: Louisville -2 -107 at pinnacle
Jack's Free Pick Monday: Louisville -2
The Louisville Cardinals are 9-2 this season with their only two losses coming on the road. They are a perfect 6-0 at home this season and coming off a road loss to Miami over the weekend, so they will come back home motivated for a win tonight.
The Florida State Seminoles have feasted on a home-heavy schedule to get to 7-2 this season. They have played eight of their nine games at home. In their lone road game, they lost 67-77 at Clemson as 1.5-point dogs. So this will be just their 2nd true road game all season. It will also be their first game against a ranked opponent.
It's a bit of a letdown spot for the Seminoles off a huge 82-75 home win over the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday. Second-leading scorer Scottie Barnes (11.1 PPG) sat out last game for the Seminoles and is questionable with an ankle injury. Leading scorer M.J. Walker (16.3 PPG) also suffered an ankle injury against UNC and may not be 100% tonight.
Louisville is 7-0 ATS in its last seven home games after three straight games committing 14 or fewer turnovers. The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following an ATS loss. Bet Louisville Monday.
