DALLAS +3.5
ANALYSIS: The Jazz are playing out of their minds on a nine-game SU & ATS winning streak, but this is their second game in 24 hours and they won't have leading scorer Donovan Mitchell due to a concussion (see news feed story). Dallas, meanwhile, is trending toward the return of Josh Richardson, Dorian Finney-Smith and Dwight Powell off the COVID list. The Mavs are 6-1 ATS in their past seven on the road.

CHICAGO @ NASHVILLE | 01/27 | 7:30 PM EST
NASHVILLE -175
ANALYSIS: Why wouldn't you go back to the well of backing Nashville at home vs. Chicago? The Hawks, still winless on the road, played pretty well Tuesday in losing 3-2 in overtime without two key players in winger Alex DeBrincat and defenseman Adam Boqvist, both in COVID protocols. They presumably won't play here, either. Both clubs should have different netminders in the second of a back-to-back and the Preds' Juuse Saros is much better than the Hawks' Kevin Lankinen. Chicago is 1-4 in its past five in the second of a back-to-back and just 4-17 in its past 21 away.

OTTAWA @ VANCOUVER | 01/27 | 8:00 PM EST
VANCOUVER -150
ANALYSIS: Why are the Canucks only -150 here? Have oddsmakers not seen the Senators? They are just terrible on a five-game skid and with an NHL-worst minus-12 goal differential. There's talk Coach DJ Smith might be fired soon -- if the Sens are embarrassed 7-1 in Vancouver like they were on Monday, Smith probably is gone. The Canucks have taken five of the past six in the series.

DETROIT @ CLEVELAND | 01/27 | 7:00 PM EST
CLEVELAND -2.5
ANALYSIS: Wednesday is the front end of a back-to-back for the Pistons, so they have already ruled out Blake Griffin for rest and I'm guessing there's a good chance Derrick Rose sits too. Neither of those guys are close to what they once where but still are two of the team's best players (which tells you all you need to know about the Pistons). Cleveland has won three straight games over Detroit, including a 128-119 OT victory the day after Christmas in Motown. The Cavs have covered the past four in the series.
