Memphis is 11-3-1 to the under on the season and opponents are shooting only 38.7% from the field against hte Tigers. UCF shot 57% from the field in a 93-88 OT loss at Wichita State last time out, but the Knights are averaging only 66.7 ppg on the season and I think they'll go cold against a much tougher defense in this one.

The UNDER (235) is worth a look in Monday's NBA action between the Bucks and Blazers. There's going to be plenty of points scored in this matchup, but I believe the books have more than adjusted for that with the high number here. Portland is a good offensive team when at full strength, but they are missing several key guys right now and have to be feeling the effects of playing their 3rd straight on the road here. As for Milwaukee, we should see them a little more invested on the defensive side after two straight upset losses at New Orleans and Charlotte. Play the UNDER 235!

It's a great time to 'buy low' on the Chicago Bulls off three straight losses and non-covers against the Lakers, Celtics and Blazers. They had gone 11-2 ATS in their previous 13 games prior to this run and remain one of the most undervalued teams in the NBA.
Now the Bulls come in motivated to end this three-game skid. They had won three straight over Dallas, Houston and Charlotte prior to this tough stretch of games. And now they are rested and ready to go as they will be playing just their 2nd game in 7 days.
Conversely, the New York Knicks will be a tired team as they will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 3rd game in 4 days after losing 115-129 at home to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. I don't expect the Knicks to have enough left in the tank to compete with this hungry Bulls team tonight.
Chicago is 15-4 ATS in its last 19 games off a loss by 6 points or less. The Bulls want to erase the sour taste of blowing a 5-point lead with 10 seconds left to the Blazers last time out. The Knicks are 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 games when playing on zero rest. Chicago is 9-1 ATS in its last 10 games when playing on one days' rest. Bet the Bulls Monday.

Today's free pick is in the NBA, as we will lay the 3-points at home with the New Orleans Pelicans as they get ready to host the Sacramento Kings. While the Pelicans come into this game off a blowout loss at home to the Rockets, NO had won their previous two games and lets not overlook the fact that the loss to Houston was in a major flat spot playing on no rest after a big upset win against the Bucks the night before. I just feel this is too good a price here to pass up with the Pelicans against a Kings team that could be running on empty after two grueling games against the Raptors and Heat over the weekend. They beat Toronto 126-124 on Friday and then lost 104-105 at Miami on Saturday. Bet New Orleans -3!

This Mavs teams has cost me some profits here of late, but I'm not about to pass up a play on Dallas at this price on Monday. I know it's been a struggle for the Mavs here of late, who come in having lost 5 straight and are just 2-8 in their last 10 overall, but I love this spot for Dallas quite a bit.
These two teams just played each other on Saturday. The Mavs went into the 4th quarter up 5, but ended up losing 105-111. One thing to note is that Dallas rested big man Kristaps Porzingis and his absence was greatly missed. He will return to the court for this game and the Mavs are also expected to welcome back Maxi Kleber.
After playing so many games shorthanded, this is as healthy as Dallas has been all season and I believe it will be the turning point for this team. Regardless of the fact, the Mavs should be the much more motivated team and I believe that will be enough here for them to get the win. Give me Dallas -1.5!

In his second season, the Red Raiders won 27 games and made the Elite 8 and then followed that up by winning 31 games in the 2018-19 season, where they lost to UVa in the national championship game. Last year's 18-13 season was seen as a major slump but Tech opened at No. 14 in the AP preseason poll.
Both schools stepped out of conference play on Saturday with Oklahoma knocking off 9th-ranked Alabama 66-61, while Texas Tech stunned LSU in Baton Rouge by scoring the last 12 points of the game in the last minute for a 76-71 victory. The 11-4 Sooners (6-3 Big 12) have now beaten three consecutive top-10 opponents and are just the third team since the AP poll began in 1948-49 with four regular-season victories over top-10 foes in the same calendar month (the last to do so was North Carolina State in 1974). The Sooners have won FIVE in a row and have covered six straight as they look to avenge a 69-67 loss at home to Texas Tech back on Dec. 22. Texas Tech's late-game rally against LSU was its sixth game in the last six weeks settled in the closing seconds or overtime. The 12-5 Red Raiders (4-4 Big 12) are 3-3 in those games.
Oklahoma's top scorer from last season is gone (forward Doolittle averaged 15.8 & 8.9). This season's team is led by guards Reaves (15.8-5.1-5.1), Harmon (13.1) and Williams (7.7) are joined by big men like the 6-9 Manek (11.0 & 4.0), the 6-10 Kuath (7.1 & 5.2) and the 6-7 Iwuako (6.6 7 4.2). Georgetown transfer McClung (17.5) leads Tech in scoring and is joined in the starting lineup by guards Edwards (9.9 & 5.0) and freshman Peavy (5.6 & 2.9). The 6-7 Santos-Silva (8.7 & 6.4) is Tech's tallest starter, although the 6-6 Shannon (13.6 & 5.5) who comes off the bench, and 6-6 starter McCullar (9.9 & 7.1) are bigger producers. The Red Raiders' calling card remains defense, allowing 62.2 PPG (21st) on 40.7% shooting.
As noted above, Tech has played many close games and playing with revenge (plus basically a 'TD' in points), I'm taking Oklahoma.

ASA free play on Detroit Pistons +8 over Denver Nuggets, 9 PM ET - We’ve lost some value on this number compared to the opening line posted by Vegas but we still like the Pistons in this game. Denver is in a poor scheduling situation here as they are off HUGE game/win yesterday over the Utah Jazz AND they have the Lakers on deck. This is the Nuggets 7th game in eleven days and 3rd in four with it being a back-to-back. Denver is less than 100% healthy too with several key players nursing minor injuries. Yes, we know Detroit is just 1-8 SU on the road this season but they also have a pair of wins in their last five games against Philly and the Lakers who are clearly two of the best teams in the NBA. Detroit has two players on their roster this season who were on the Nuggets team a year ago in Mason Plumlee and Jerami Grant. You can bet those two will have a little extra motivation for tonight’s contest and Plumlee should have an idea on how to contain Jokic who logged 37+ minutes yesterday. Denver is 5-5 SU at home this season with a +3PPG point differential. Detroit has a negative road differential of minus -8.8PPG so we just need them to play slightly better than ‘average’ to get a cover here. Plug your nose and bet Detroit!
