HOUSTON @ WASHINGTON | 02/15 | 7:00 PM EST
HOUSTON +1.5
The last time these teams met, the Rockets smoked the Wizards by 19 points, even without Christian Wood (ankle). Also, both Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook were active for Washington. In the rematch, Wood will be out again and Victor Oladipo (foot) is sidelined. However, the Wizards also could be without Westbrook since they were in action on Sunday and he hasn’t played both games of a back-to-back set this season. The Wizards are just 3-9 at home and are 0-4 ATS as home favorites, so I’ll take the Rockets here.

ATLANTA @ NEW YORK | 02/15 | 7:30 PM EST
UNDER 217.5
Atlanta is generally a high-total team, but when oddsmakers have pegged the Hawks games with low totals, they have been right. Atlanta’s games with totals under 223 are 5-1 on the under this season, and the lone over was only due to overtime. Look for the oddsmakers to be locked in with this one too. Atlanta is the small road favorite in this low-total game. The Hawks are 0-8 OU (-14.50 ppg) since Feb 25, 2017 as road favorites when the total is under 240.Comment

OTTAWA @ TORONTO | 02/15 | 7:00 PM EST
TORONTO -280
ANALYSIS: My model says the Maple Leafs win in almost 80 percent of the simulations, so you're getting excellent value at this number. Toronto had its nine-game point streak (8-0-1) halted by Montreal on Saturday and will be looking to take out its frustrations. There's no better opponent for that than the Senators, who ended their four-game slide the same night but have yet to post back-to-back victories this season. Take the Maple Leafs.

ATLANTA @ NEW YORK | 02/15 | 7:30 PM EST
ATLANTA -1
ANALYSIS: My model says the Hawks cover in almost 70 percent of the simulations, so you're getting excellent value at this number. Atlanta has struggled of late, losing three straight games and six of its last seven. But the Hawks will have revenge on their minds after suffering a five-point loss against New York at home early January. New York topped Houston by 22 points on Saturday but has yet to win more than once on a homestand this season. Take Atlanta.

ATLANTA @ NEW YORK | 02/15 | 7:30 PM EST
NEW YORK +2
ANALYSIS: The Hawks have lost three straight and six of seven, with all the defeats coming against better teams. The question here is whether the young Knicks fit that bill. Atlanta's spread on the road says it's better, but I can’t make that claim. New York battles, has the NBA’s No. 1 defense and seems willing to listen and learn from coach Tom Thibodeau. The Knicks, who have won two straight and four of six, posted a 113-108 victory at Atlanta on Jan. 4. They get the cover here.

E. KENTUCKY 80 @ TENN. TECH 62 | 02/15 | 4:00 PM EST
E. KENTUCKY -7.5
ANALYSIS: Tennessee Tech is 0-14 on the road, but 3-5 at home where it plays tonight against an extremely talented, but underrated Eastern Kentucky squad. EKU returned four starters from last season and has six players averaging double-figures. The Colonels' five losses came against Xavier in November and four teams rated better than them in the tough OVC. They won 93-73 at Tennessee State on Saturday and I see something similar here. Eastern Kentucky is the play.

VIRGINIA @ FLORIDA ST. | 02/15 | 7:00 PM EST
VIRGINIA +1.5
ANALYSIS: Florida State is 10-1 at home this season while Virginia is 5-1 in true road games. It’’s a battle of the top two teams in the ACC, with the Cavaliers holding a 2 1/2-game lead. Virginia has won its last four contests, including one on Saturday in which it suffocated North Carolina all game en route to a 60-48 triumph that never seemed that close. The Seminoles are coming off a 92-85 overtime win at home against Wake Forest (+13), and they lost at Georgia Tech in their prior outing. Virginia has covered the last two meetings in Tallahassee, as good defense travels well. I’m on the Cavaliers.

CLEVELAND @ GOLDEN ST. | 02/15 | 10:00 PM EST
OVER 227
ANALYSIS: The Cavs won't have Andre Drummond to slow things down, and they have allowed 52 percent shooting in five of their last six games. They've slipped to 22nd in defensive efficiency. Look for the Over to improve to 5-0 in Cleveland's last five games.

PHILADELPHIA @ UTAH | 02/15 | 9:00 PM EST
UTAH -6.5
ANALYSIS: The Jazz have covered 11 of their past 12 home games, and I'll bank on them to keep rolling in Monday's showdown versus the 18-9 76ers. Philly's bench is struggling without sixth man Shake Milton. Utah, meanwhile, is playing unselfish, joyous basketball. The Jazz have won their past 12 home games, with the last 11 victories coming by at least 11 points. Lay it.

HOUSTON @ WASHINGTON | 02/15 | 7:00 PM EST
WASHINGTON +1.5
ANALYSIS: Russell Westbrook will play the second of a back-to-back for Washington for the first time this season. The Rockets, meanwhile, are down Victor Oladipo, Christian Wood, PJ Tucker and Eric Gordon. As it is, Houston enters on a five-game slide -- failing to cover the spread in any of them.

MIAMI @ L.A. CLIPPERS | 02/15 | 10:00 PM EST
MIAMI +3.5
ANALYSIS: I took Cleveland getting double digits at the Clippers on Sunday because L.A. was without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Patrick Beverley -- but the Cavs still got blown out because they are terrible. Should have known better. Miami is not terrible, and with those three sitting again the Heat not only should cover Monday but may well win outright even with Goran Dragic sidelined.

CHICAGO @ INDIANA | 02/15 | 7:00 PM EST
INDIANA -220
ANALYSIS: Indiana's 10 consecutive regular-season wins over the Bulls match the longest-ever Pacers winning streak in the series. I'm pretty confident it will reach 11 as Chicago remains without Lauri Markkanen and Otto Porter and most likely Wendell Carter Jr. as well -- but I don't love giving the 5.5 points so we'll go moneyline instead. Indiana is 2-7 ATS in its past nine home games.

WINNIPEG @ EDMONTON | 02/15 | 9:00 PM EST
EDMONTON -135
ANALYSIS: It's the first home game for Edmonton since Feb. 2 and the high-powered Oilers enter having won six of seven overall. Connor McDavid (28 points) and Leon Draisaitl (26 points) are 1-2 in the league in scoring. The Jets will be without top center Pierre-Luc Dubois for a second straight game due to injury. Winnipeg is 2-7 in its past nine as a road underdog.

PHILADELPHIA @ UTAH | 02/15 | 9:00 PM EST
UTAH -6.5
ANALYSIS: I believe this spread is a bit too high if the Sixers are at full strength, but Joel Embiid is being listed as questionable with his troublesome back and being that it's the last of a four-game West Coast trip, I tend to think he sits as a precaution. So, we'll take the 6.5 points now because that's clearly going to jump if the MVP candidate is out. Philly has covered just five of its past 22 as a road dog dating to last season. The Jazz are 11-1 ATS in their past 12 at home.

TAMPA BAY -160
ANALYSIS: The Lightning at less than -200 at home? Yes, I will take that. They also will welcome back star Steven Stamkos (14 points) as he has cleared COVID protocols. Florida has won just two of the past 12 in the series after a split at home Thursday and Saturday in the Miami area (Stamkos missed both).

ETSU @ CHATTANOOGA | 02/15 | 7:00 PM EST
CHATTANOOGA -1.5
ANALYSIS: The Chattanooga Mocs will aim for a season-sweep over East Tennessee State on Monday. The teams previously met on February 6th, as the Mocs won 67-65. A win today would be the Mocs' fifth straight, and their best in-conference stretch since 2016-2017. Take the Mocs to prevail and shift the pendulum of the Southern Conference, which was formerly dominated by ETSU.

MIAMI @ L.A. CLIPPERS | 02/15 | 10:00 PM EST
MIAMI +3
ANALYSIS: The Miami Heat will continue their road trip as they take on the LA Clippers on Monday. With the Clippers in a back-to-back scenario, look for the Heat to take advantage. They’ve won four of their last five, and are beginning to show the life of being the defending Eastern Conference champion. Grab the Heat.
