The Ohio State Buckeyes just aren't taking their foot off the gas. They are 9-1 SU & 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall with their only loss coming by 2 points to Purdue. They have actually played their best basketball on the road this season, too.
The Buckeyes are 5-0 SU & 5-0 ATS in their last five road games while knocking off almost all of the top teams in the Big Ten in the process. They beat Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Rutgers and Maryland in those five road games. And now they should handle one of the worst teams in the conference in Penn State.
The Nittany Lions are 4-9 in Big Ten play this season and are coming off an upset home loss to Nebraska as a double-digit favorite. That was Nebraska's only win in Big Ten play all season. So it's hard to trust Penn State catching such a short number here to be able to compete with arguably the best team in the conference in the Buckeyes.
Penn State is 0-6 ATS in its last six home games after scoring 65 points or less in two straight games coming in. Ohio State is 16-6 ATS in its last 22 games as a favorite. Bet Ohio State Thursday.

Loyola-Marymount (+6) is worth a look here as a decently priced road dog against San Francisco in Thursday's West Coast Conference action on the college hardwood. The Lions come into this game having won 3 straight and two of those have come on the road. As for the Dons, they have lost 3 in a row and are primed for a letdown after just playing Gonzaga last time out. Not to mention Loyola-Marymount beat San Francisco at home 68-60 earlier this season as a 3.5-point dog. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they won outright again. Play the Lions +6!

We might expect the Heat to come out a bit flat here in their second game of a back to back, especially considering that they have the Lakers up next on Saturday. The Heat are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games following a straight up loss, and they have failed to cover in five straight as a road favorite. Today's free pick is on the Brooklyn Nets +2.5 at the Los Angeles Lakers. Both teams will be down a big time player, as Anthony Davis won't suit up for LA and Kevin Durant is sidelined for the Nets. I just think the loss of AD is a much bigger loss than Durant for Brooklyn. The Nets still have two of the best players in the game in Kyrie Irving and James Harden. While neither is as good as LeBron, they got the better talent around them. I just don't see the Lakers being able to keep pace offensively with Brooklyn without Davis on the floor. There's a decent chance he returns tonight, and the price is right to back the Cougars either way. They already beat Cal 71-60 on the road in their first matchup this year. Cal is in a letdown spot after finally ending a 7-game losing streak with an upset win over Colorado at home last game. The Golden Bears are 1-9 SU in true road games this year. Cal is 7-16 ATS in its last 23 road games. Take Washington State.
