The Avs are rolling again, coming off a 'get right' trip to Arizona that saw them win both games. Now they face a very winnable matchup in San Jose, where the Sharks have once again hit the skids, losing five of their last seven games, including their last two - in which they were lit up for a whopping 13 goals. Interestingly enough, the Sharks have gone a miserable 11-25 when coming off a game where at least seven total goals were scored over the last two seasons - outscored by an average margin of 1.3 goals in that situation.
