I will gladly take a shot here with the Wizards as a 8.5-point dog in their rematch against Milwaukee. These two teams just played each other in Washington on Saturday and that game went right down to the wire. The Bucks prevailed 125-119, but it was the Wizards who covered as a 13.5-point underdogs.
Washington kept it close without the NBA's leading scorer, Bradley Beal. They also made a game of it with Giannis going for a triple-double. With Beal returning to action and this game not meaning near as much to Milwaukee having just beat this same team two days ago, this seems like a very favorable price to be backing the Wizards at home.
Not only could the Bucks struggle to get up for this game given they just beat the same opponent a couple days ago, but they got a pretty big game on deck at the 76ers on Wednesday. A team they trail by 2.5-games for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Bucks are just 4-13 ATS this season when priced like they are here as a 3.5 to 9.5 point favorite. They are also 0-6 ATS last 6 on the road vs a team with a losing home record. Give me the Wizards +8.5!

The set-up: Normally I like playing against really hot teams, as I try to predict their eventual letdown spot. I also like playing on struggling teams and figuring out when they'll finally break through with a victory. These particular teams are moving in opposite directions right now, and I expect that to continue at least for a while a longer. Boston has lost three of four, most recently a 4-0 setback to the undermanned Rangers. Overall the Bruins have scored two goals or less in six of their last nine games.
The pick: The Penguins have won five in a row, most recently a 3-0 victory over the Sabres. Pittsburgh plays with "double-revenge" here as well after dropping both earlier meetings to Boston. Finally note that the Penguins are a perfect 4-0 in their last four when playing on one days rest, while the Bruins are just 1-4 in their last five on the road.

Buffalo, obviously, has struggled. However, that has led to us being able to get an extra +1.5 goals with them, at home, for essentially a pick'em price. I believe that's providing very fair line value. A look at Washington's last seven games shows a record of 6-1. However, a closer look reveals that four of those six victories came by a single goal. Three of the last four meetings between these teams were also decided by a single goal. Off b2b wins at Philadelphia and with the Islanders on deck tomorrow, I feel that the Caps could easily look past the lowly Sabres. Consider BUFFALO on the puck-line. (+1.5 goals.)

Now the Pistons are back home here tonight and motivated for a victory against the San Antonio Spurs.
This is a tough spot for the Spurs Monday. They will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back after a blowout loss in Philadelphia last night. It will also be the 4th game in 6 days for San Antonio. The Spurs have lost three of their last four games coming in with their lone victory coming against the hapless Magic, who were playing the 2nd of a back-to-back.
The Spurs are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as road favorites. San Antonio is 2-7 ATS in its last nine games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. The Jets return home off three straight high-scoring games in Montreal, including a 5-2 victory on Saturday night. I'm anticipating a much lower-scoring affair on Monday as Winnipeg hosts slumping Montreal. The Canadiens just wrapped up a two-game set in Calgary in which they scored just two goals. They've now been held to a single goal in three of their last four games overall. Note that the Canadiens have posted a 2-9 o/u record when playing on the road following a loss by two goals or more over the last two seasons with those games totaling an average of just 4.8 goals. The Jets are giving up just 2.0 goals per game when revenging a road loss by three goals or more over the last two seasons. That's the situation here after Montreal took the most recent meeting by a 7-1 score on March 6th. Take the under (8*).
